But I just can't get over....

Cold air and a will to live keeping Oliver alive.

We live in a DC world where a human speedster can't manage (or at least figure out) that he could easily disarm two individuals of their advanced weapons rather than running around them in hopes of not getting shot...

Where cops don't take shots any villains they come across at times even when they easily could...

Where a Police Department doesn't bother to upload their evidence onto an electronic database in today's age...

So cold air and a will to live isn't hard to buy at this point.lol

Good episode, and finally ****ing Felicity came to her senses. She pretty much said the same thing I said last week. The mission to save Starling may have started with Oliver but it's your mission now. Man Laurel is a mess out in the field, but she is a tough broad, gotta respect that.

Well,we all know they love to riff off Nolan's Bat-Films,and people excepted a broken back being cured by a punch to the back and hanging on a rope for a fortnight.

Judging by the promo for next week, the similarities to TDKR won't end there.:woot:

At this point, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we get a scene where it looks like Ra's is going to kill Oliver again, only for him to be blasted away by Laurel, riding on one of Oliver's weaponized motorcycles.lol

Important question: Why on God's green earth is everyone STILL keeping the truth of Sara's death from Quentin? It's bordering on emotional manipulation. Quentin is a loved character. Deserves truth.

marcguggenheim:
I don’t disagree.

:pal:

I can totally see them doing that!

Unfortunately.:csad:

Hopefully not. No offense.
your one of the more sense able posters
I did some looking up on the Lazarus pit both comic's & ollie it's not healthy those the want it to be used on any of the heroes lol wow here's the low down

Lazarus Pits.

History

A Lazarus Pit is a natural phenomenon that possesses restorative properties that instantly heals injuries and even granting immortality. The origins of the Lazarus Pit was accidentally discovered by Ra's al Ghul while digging a pit where he discovered the restorative chemical pools while searching for a cure to a dying prince. Although the Lazarus Pit saved the prince's life, it also drove him mad and into killing Ra's al Ghul's wife, Sora. This incident led to a series of cruel circumstances for Ra's al Ghul's into becoming the feared "Demon's Head". For several centuries, the Lazarus Pits were used by Ra's al Ghul to prolong his life.
The Lazarus Pits have been later used by multiple people across the globe, including Ra's al Ghul's daughter, Nyssa, the Black Canary (Dinah Laurel Lance)[1], The Riddler, Lady Shiva, Cassandra Cain and Kate Kane .
The fanatical terrorist known as Kobra also had his own hidden network of Lazarus Pits after having analyzed and duplicated the chemical compositions of the Pits. Furthermore, Kobra's analysis of the Lazarus Pits' chemicals allowed to control those he resurrected as mindless slaves.
Eventually all of the Lazarus Pits were apparently destroyed by Bane and Batman, except for one. Because each Lazarus Pit can reportedly only be used one time, Ra's had to accept the fact that eventually he would die (a notion that is subject to debate, as there is evidence of him existing in the 31st century). His daughter Nyssa, however, had discovered a way to make the Lazarus Pits last indefinitely, but rather than let her father use it, she stabbed him to death. Although supposedly only one pit remains, its location has appeared vague - at one point it appears to be in an island compound Ra's assaulted, later it appeared to be in a completely different location, and another "last" pit was constructed inside the Batcave. This may in fact indicate that there is more than one pit remaining, or that Nyssa was able to create additional pits.
Powers

The substance that fills each pit is a chemical blend of unknown composition, seemingly originating from somewhere within the Earth's crust. For an unknown reason, it bubbles to the surface only at certain key points around the globe, typically at the junction of ley lines. The chemicals can rejuvenate the sick and the dying (and even the technically deceased as long as they have not yet truly died), but will typically kill a healthy user. In addition, it appears to act as a youth restorative sometimes, decreasing the age of a user depending how long they were in the pit, and in many cases, resurrect the dead.
For maximum efficiency however, a decedent must be placed within the Lazarus pit within a relatively short period of time following their death. Although older bodies may be resurrected, there is no guarantee that they will return in perfect condition. On one occasion, Ra's exhumed the bodies of Thomas and Martha Wayne, threatening to immerse them in the pit, transforming them into undead zombies.[2]
When used to heal or to bring someone back to life, that person is also rendered temporarily insane (although one instance when it was used for the Joker, it temporarily rendered him sane).

that's what I call the rabies mode where they kill everyone in that room with them that's Lazarus pit Nature

Also the corruptive fact that what it still does to a person idea of Right and wrong long term after rabies mode ends & people want this used on Oliver & sara.

So you want a zombie Apocalypse with sara ?

Watching the episode now, Laurel is KILLING it this episode! Even if she is stumbling.

Though they really shouldn't have included "current day" Oliver scenes. He should've been absent from at least these two episodes if it isn't a scene that involves a flashback.

I would tend to agree except the present day stuff made me curious what happened with Maseo in the past. Maybe they could have timed it better to keep the Oliver suspense a bit more, but I'm still curious.

I agree but I'm sure some would have bee they want to know why he was a live so.. as lo as we do't have to hear a complaint about this it's fie I guess

Everyone wants everything, but it would've been a little stronger that way imo.

I know Black Canary is very in the moment, so she isn't thinking clearly, but I hope they show off Laurels boxing skills and what she learned from Ted.

I said this before but I think the reason mostly Maseo's with the league has to do with his son & I'm gonna add to the fact he had a fall out with Waller she didn't give a damn about helping him save his wife . He thought Ra's was save place from her wrath .

I'm in two minds about the episode... I liked the scenes with Felicity and I'm actually enjoying Vinnie Jones as Brick. It was good to see Roy stepping up and I have to admit I didn't see the DJ bit coming....

But...

I cannot believe the writers pushed the whole 'Don't tell Lance' ******** so far... To lie to him is understandable while still being very wrong.... But to actually think that having Laurel impersonate Sara not only with the phone call, but the ****ing meeting? Completely unforgivable IMHO.... And I'm really pissed that the team just went along with it....

I'm also a bit miffed that, with the leader of the group gone, Diggle (IMHO the best person to actually lead the group with his military background) not stepping up and taking command is a waste IMHO.

Merlyn is up to something. If he wanted Thea out the city, she'd be out the city... He'd just turn around and Roofie her again to get her to go with him... So to have him sit back and let her stay... Nah, I think he's playing a long game here and I think he's going to end up sacrificing (or trying to) Thea to allow his escape.

yeah they have dragged out that storyline far to long. I'm ready for it to be over. The secrets this season are just to much.

I hope everyone is content with Laurels storyline since so many were afraid that she would be kickass for suiting up.

It's not that they've dragged it out too long, but that crossed a line for me in this episode with what they did, I really feel like they went too far and I really hate that the team went along with it like they did.

An alright episode. Pretty standard fare for this series. I sure do miss Oliver's mother though. I think her machinations were my favorite part of this show. Anyway,

7/10

I guess I shouldn't be surprised (given that it's already been glossed over at times in MCU films) that no one in Team Arrow thought about calling up Barry for some support involving Brick.lol

At the same time I can see Barry joking with Oliver about it.

lol; agreed.

I mean it wouldn't even be that hard really. Barry could be in Starling City within minutes and the only thing that would be left would be for Felicity to do her computer thing, locate Brick..and direct Flash/Arsenal/Canary/Diggs to the location.

Plus, it's not like Barry was missing or tied down to something that was causing him to be busy for several days if we go by the events of the last two Flash episodes.

The Black Canary storyline has been going so well, when they get the Quentin storyline over with it will be even better.

The Good:

- Laurel. Her journey has been and continues to be incredibly compelling. I also enjoyed watching her interact with Felicity.

- Brick. I like him better than both Count Vertigo and Ra's al Ghul.

- I really enjoyed the quieter, more emotional moments of the episode.

- China White!

The Bad:

- Thea. She's a ****ing moron for continuing to interact with, support, and love Malcolm.

- Malcolm being so easily swayed to remain in Starling.

- The explanation given for Oliver surviving the fall was as flimsy as it was stupid.

- At one point, Maseo blocked a bullet - a bullet - with a metal tray. I realize it might have been an homage to B89, but...no.

EDIT: Team Arrow helping Laurel lie to her father is not something I'm okay with.

7/10.

I am kind of surprised no one has had a convo with Thea over her daddy-dearest and his past misdeeds.

It's Thea....who has had a reputation for telling people to F'Off if they try to tell her something that goes against her form of logic.

Heck, even I was surprised on how Thea didn't bring up being bothered by Merlin's past sins, most notably with the Glades, given on how it was covered in their conversation when Merlin told Thea why Ra's was after them.

While I don't think Ra's should go after Thea, Ra's has every right to kill Merlin.

Right now I see thea as victim of Stockholm sindrum to a degree . she thinks her biological old man loves her as a father should .

The writer may even push that to a certain degree with how he's acting . Cause it seem he can't even make up his own mind, but once Ras is face to face with him it's possible Malcolm will value his own life over thea if the 3 are in the same room. It depends on the writers though they may just have him act like its opposite day for the heck of it & want him to try & save her.

To Ras it won't make much of difference & sadly thea will try and protect Malcolm & Ras will indeed kill her cause he does care about Right or wrong.
if foud about the video or not all he'll care about is she's in his way topspin him & fihtin him wen he can kill Malcolm

unless Roy kidnap's thea & keep's her in a Argus safe house knocked / drugged out via Lyla. or they ca fake thea's death. those are her ways out if the writers do't want her killed . but she's gonna eventually die cause originally Ollie doesn't have a sister until this show made one for him .

Solid episode writing wise, amazing on the action. I just assume Thea is idiotic and coast with he stuff, the Arrow team kicked ass, love all of the LOA stuff... but Ollie's survival was a tad bit of a plot hole.
