Imagine if she did find out about the Sara situation. But then, wouldn't she be angry with Ollie because he knew but didn't tell her, and decided to work with Merlyn anyway? I imagine she'd have the same reaction as Felicity the week before.

And what a way for things to end between Thea and the DJ. Only a few minutes after sex he tries to kill her but ends up killing himself.

And what were Roy and Merlyn doing outside of Thea's apartment in costume? Why didn't they burst in before, either when Thea and the DJ were getting it on (which would've been more reason for Merlyn to shoot him straight away) or even before during their fight? Why would Merlyn even suit up for that instead of just being as he is dressed normally?

And how come Roy seems to get beaten up by everyone? I can understand with someone like Nyssa. But the DJ?? Is there anyone whom Roy can make light work of without getting his ass handed to him?

Why did Roy feel the need to follow Thea to her apartment anyway, and on top of that, suit up? What if the DJ just turned out to be simply that? A DJ who wanted to get Thea knocked up? Is Roy planning to scare away all of Thea's potential suitors with his Arsenal kit?

To be fair, scum bag DJ was trained by the League, which explains why he kicked Roy's butt. From what we have seen so far, only Oliver seems to have enough skill to go against the League members (except for Ra's), and he's had way more training than Roy.

I'm in a room with others who are watching the episode now and I didn't mention it before but I quite like the music cue when we see Laurel and "Sara" fighting.

Thought this was a good episode to finally get most of the secrets out of the bag. I was kind of dreading what Thea's reaction would be, but I liked she didn't flip out on Ollie and instead praised his work as the Arrow. The C4 line got a chuckle out of me. I like the tension still being there between Felicity and Oliver, and that everyone finally called Ollie out on his hypocrisy this episode instead of it just being a thing between him and Felicity. The Roy/Malcolm appearance to help Thea was unintentionally funny, especially since they were both suited up, but I do like that it showed the team why they would need Malcolm's help. Anyone trained by the LoA is a big threat.

Can't wait for the Island episode, and I find the flashback of Ollie being in Starling City kind of dumb as a gut reaction but we'll see how it plays out.

To be fair, this guy is apparently Ra's a Ghul's personal DJ. So maybe he's got some mad skills. I can just picture Ra's sitting there all depressed "Dammit, now how am I going to jam with the mad tunes? Oh well, fetch me my I-pod."

Well I mean the DJ IS a member of the League. Roy was just training for bout half a year.

Let's not act like he and Diggle didn't handle themselves well while Ollie was gone though. Roy definitely stepped up.

I feel like I should have whiplash trying to following the characterisation of some of the cast!

Last week Oliver wanted train as Malcolm's apprentice. This week Malcolm shows up to do just that and Oliver acts like he doesn't want to be near him. All season Thea has loved Malcolm above all others and would consider the reveal of any more lies to be the ultimate betrayal. This week, Oliver reveals that he's been lying for years and Thea loves Oliver and now hates Malcolm. Last week Roy wanted to work with Malcolm. This week he hates Malcolm, but will join Malcolm in spying on Thea having sex with a random!

Anyway, I'm glad that Thea finally knows that Oliver is the Arrow and that she had a semi-decent reaction to it. BUT, now was really the time to tell her that Malcolm drugged her and forced her to murder Sara. Why are they still keeping secrets from her? I think she deserves to know.

I'm also glad that Papa Lance finally knows that Sara is dead. They dragged that revelation out way too long. Now someone needs to tell Laurel and Papa Lance that a brain-washed Thea was the culprit, but that the mastermind was Malcolm.

And I really want to know more about the LOA's assassination techniques. They don't just bother with a straight-forward shooting. Instead they're all about having sex with their target before attempting to murder them with poison in the post-coital red wine! Crazy!

The Sara/Laurel stuff was okay. It didn't make sense to me how Laurel was being beaten with Sara's bo staff when Count Vertigo wasn't actually holding a bo staff. At one point he seems to have picked up one of Laurel's night sticks, but that's not what Sara was using. Also, villains really should learn not to play with their food. All that time toying and tormenting Laurel could have been used to simply kill her or leave her in a vertigo state and escape.

As someone else mentioned in this thread, or maybe it was the General Discussion thread, I look forward to seeing the original Felicity return. The goofy, frequent faux pas making, quirky and all-round adorable version of the character.

P.S. There had better be an awesome payoff for the flashbacks this year. They have been incredibly dull to date and Waller's motivations for kidnapping and "training" a billionaire with basic survival skills learned while trapped on an island continue to be a mystery.

And please, can we have old Felicity back. Lately, she's been a real wet blanket and i'm cringing everytime she shows up on screen.
