Can we post AC Liberation stuff in the Liberation thread? I have no interest in PS Vita at all and unless it's in regards to a specific cross over with AC 3 I dont think it's relevant

Well I didn't see that there was one made of AC Liberation, which shows how well that hand helds doing. And I thought i was killing two birds with one stone. But yeah I can do only the parts that connects the two of these games together . If that's what you all want.

Honestly, I kind of agree with some of what he says here.

i agree with pretty much all of it. japanese games pretty much suck(there are exceptions). altho i dont think they get a free pass. i think ppl have been calling em on it for some time.

Just started playing AC: Revelations through Gamefly. I skipped it last year because I was getting burnt out on AC but I'm having fun jumping in now. It definitely has the sense of "this is the 3rd game we are squeezing out of this... throw in tower defense!" but few things feel as good as AC gameplay. A good prep for 3 which seems like it will be a big leap over the AC 2 trilogy.

Yea i prob should of waited a bit to play Revelations. I just rushed through that game to see how the story unfolded. After i finished that game tho, i was completely turned off of the AC series which came as a huge shock to me. However it only took one description of ACIII for me to jump back on board. I can't wait for ACIII

Hah, neither did I. I just YouTubed it. So damn sick. Love the fact that health doesnt regenerate during combat and you can't use potions or anything.

The dev team talked about doing it, but because Philly was designed on a grid, it made for poor gameplay. It's just too flat and the streets were too wide. You do visit it in cutscenes tho

Great interview, and I agree with him as well. The vast majority of Japanese games seem like absolute gibberish but always seem to rack in the ratings.

Fascinating.

I thought I had read somewhere that the naval combat was going to take place on the Caribbean, but this indicates that it follows the Battle of Chesapeake Bay in 1781, which was the last naval action that led up to Cornwallis' surrender at Yorktown. Wondering now if that means Yorktown might be in the game, at least as a cutscene....

There are multiple battles. That's been confirmed. That ship is actually Connors Ship, it's an asset you can aquire in the game, it's not just like a one off on the rails mission or something.
