I like how the giant battlefield scene shows the Brits in rigid, orderly lines, while Washington's civilian farmer militia (more or less) charges headlong into battle with no sense of order at all....
Wonder if you'll actually be able to adjust battlefield tactics, or get into RTS...
I'm liking what im seeing so far.Great trailer....tantalizing reveal. I luh-HUV what I'm seeing....I hope to see the big cities in the next reveal, though --- New York and Boston.
I also wonder how they'll deal with "reload" with black powder guns....the pistol is still a novelty in the AC2 series, but in AC3, pistols and muskets --- and CANNONS! --- will become commonplace. But you're still looking, realistically, at about a 20-30 second reload time....wonder if they'll try to be brutally authentic about that, or give you a lot quicker reload times?
Adding RTS elements would require thinking, which would reduce sales.
It's doubtful the console hardware could cope with thousands of men, like Empire: Total War.
Maybe not thousands, but I think it's confirmed there can be a thousand characters on screen.
This may the be the first Assasins Creed I will purchase since the first game. For some reason the other Assasins creed games didnt really interest me that much because that part of history never intrested me but the American revolution is right up my alley and come to think of it this is the first time a console game has tackled this right?
