Silvermoth, I know it's cool to hate America or whatever, I understand. I get it. I really do. But you're going to have to come up with a better reason to dismiss the game than, "It has an American flag on the cover."

I missed whatever that was, is it going to be archived anywhere?

YouTube version of trailer. Not HD, but it's something. Looks great.

Man, this gives free-run a whole new dimension. Looks like freakin' Tarzan running through the treetops....

Great trailer.

Also, I love the idea that, after one game during the crusades, 2 full games set in Italy, one full game set in Constantinople, various handheld games set in more european or meditteranean locations and a comic set in Russia, the very first game or anything in the AC universe that in anyway revolves around America, and it's like "Jeeeeeez, patriotic crap!"

Instead of a link, here's an embed.:o

Ok, now that was what one can expect from a reveal trailer but I am fascinated of the thought of traversing through trees and I like the vibe I'm getting overall, excited to know more details.

What an awesome trailer, officially this has become my most anticipated game of 2012!

I like how the giant battlefield scene shows the Brits in rigid, orderly lines, while Washington's civilian farmer militia (more or less) charges headlong into battle with no sense of order at all....

Wonder if you'll actually be able to adjust battlefield tactics, or get into RTS...

I liked that too, but no RTS or tactics, please. Let's keep genre's separate, and focus on the one that matters for the game.

I wonder if there's a mission where you hunt down, and fail to kill, Benedict Arnold.

I like what someone said about the wolves being like the assassin's you call in. hehe. Probably not true but it would be cool if it were, at least for the first part of the game :) I'm liking what im seeing so far.

Love how beautiful it looks. The trailer is running off of the game engine, its not a cg trailer.

Great trailer....tantalizing reveal. I luh-HUV what I'm seeing....I hope to see the big cities in the next reveal, though --- New York and Boston.

I also wonder how they'll deal with "reload" with black powder guns....the pistol is still a novelty in the AC2 series, but in AC3, pistols and muskets --- and CANNONS! --- will become commonplace. But you're still looking, realistically, at about a 20-30 second reload time....wonder if they'll try to be brutally authentic about that, or give you a lot quicker reload times?

He has two guns, so two shots before he needs to reload. I wouldn't rely on them, but instead rely on my bow and arrows.

Adding RTS elements would require thinking, which would reduce sales.
It's doubtful the console hardware could cope with thousands of men, like Empire: Total War.

Maybe not thousands, but I think it's confirmed there can be a thousand characters on screen.

Yep, the Game Informer article confirmed that there'll be thousands of soldiers onscreen instead of just hundreds, as before. They will very likely show battles like Lexington & Concord, Saratoga and Yorktown in their full glory.

Can't wait to see how we can use the two guns and the bow and arrows.

I'm assuming Connor is equipped with a knife, too....he's hell on ranged weapons, obviously, but I could see him getting into trouble once he's fired his guns, thrown his tomahawk into some redcoat's skull, and now someone's closing a lot closer than bow range....*surely* he'll have a saber or knife to work with?

I'm really excited about the bow and arrow. For some reason that's always been my favorite weapon and I love characters who get to use it.

Just got an email from Ubisoft, that the steelbook will come with pre-orders from Bestbuy, Gamestop, and Amazon.com.

This may the be the first Assasins Creed I will purchase since the first game. For some reason the other Assasins creed games didnt really interest me that much because that part of history never intrested me but the American revolution is right up my alley and come to think of it this is the first time a console game has tackled this right?

I believe so, yes.
