Anyone else worried that the naval gameplay will be the den defense of this game? I hated that mode in ACR.
I've had this worry, but I believe you can actually fight in the naval gameplay whereas Den Defense sucked because you could do anything but give commands.

But I trust that since ACIII has a different team working behind it and they've had time to get feedback about Den Defense that they won't try to do the same thing.

That hurts
when PC games typically dont sell as well as their console counterparts, it makes perfect sense. Just be glad Ubisoft is one company that at least does bring out PC ports of most of their big games

I'm glad about that
Hope I find it fun as I did the two before Revelations, wasn't a big fan of that game

Homestead, Tea Party, and Sequence 6 video.

The game looks good, but I could have lived with out the Animal QTE's and the "mini game" in the beginning of the vid lol.

LOL. WTH was that?

Game looks incredible overall tho. Damn i cant wait.

Damn, Connor's assassinations look sexy as hell. I'm gonna love playing this guy even more than I did Ezio.

The interviewee did a lot of name-dropping in that video, too --- nice to hear about Connor's mentor(s), recruits, allies, and enemies. Some of them, of course, right out of the history books.

I think this close to release I'm going to stay away from all videos.
I agree. I was just about to sit down to watch the video Kal posted, but when I heard it's already showing sequence 6, I stopped. I remember watching most of the Uncharted 3 videos last year and feeling like all the big "wow" moments were spoiled in the trailers and tv spots and they didn't impress me as much when I actually got a chance to play it.

Same here. I'm done with videos and even infos. I want to discover this game like I knew nothing about it. It will be the purest experience for me.

I'm just a little upset because I don't think I'll be able to buy it on release so I'll have to wait a while, but at the same thing, after seeing how Brotherhood and Revelations went on sale during Black Friday deals, I think I might wait until then to play.

That mini-game at the beginning looks completely ridiculous. Hopefully it doesn't keep coming up.

Sounds like they're "Scootsmen." Scots are always gonna fight. :cwink:

Man, I just got through rewatching (for the nth time) the ending scene of Last of the Mohicans on YT....AC3 can't get here soon enough....:csad:

Sounds like they're "Scootsmen."

And they sound terrible :csad: I just saw the "Everything Scottish" gag on SNL and even Myers sounds like a caricature. It's a hard accent to nail without sounding like a p***take.

Why? You can easily get all 3 of those games for a total of 20 bucks.

Really? I'd imagine ACII and ACB are at least running between $10 to $20 each, with ACR running between $20 to $30. I think anytime you can get 3 recent games for $40, it's a great deal.

Where? 2 and B retail for $20 and R for $30. Of course those are just the current MSRP but brand new those arent found for a total of $20 anywhere that I know. Besides collections are the new thing this gen. Its cool to have a collection of games. I dont own any of them anymore, but will consider this in the future as Ive always wanted to replay 2.

And the reason why is pretty obvious. AC3 is coming out next month which will most likely reawaken interest in the old franchise, which Ubisoft can now profit off of again by re-releasing the games. Alot of publishers do this around time of new game release

You know, the funny, yet sad part is that (at least in the case with Brotherhood) I'd consider this to be the Complete version of ACII, since I felt like Brotherhood felt more like DLC than a new game of its own. It's hard to believe that you can get something like this that was marketed as $180 when they were all new for less than a quarter of the price. I think this, along with the Mass Effect trilogy are great deals.

But to be honest, I thought it would've made more sense to release it before ACIII, but it might be better this way since people will most likely love ACIII and wonder what they missed since I know a lot of people quit during Brotherhood and never played Revelations.

The money situation has been rough lately for me, so I think I'm going to take the chance and end up waiting until Black Friday to buy this, if I can. After seeing how the price dropped for the last two, I think I'd be better off waiting a little while longer, although this is going to prove to be a long wait.
