I hate this stupid game sometimes. I'm at the PVP task on the SO, and I'm just getting people I have no shot against, even in practice mode.

Practice mode sometimes seems harder than actual PVP battles. Does it have to be practice battles or can you fight regular PVP tournament ones? I did that task a couple of days ago.

It's either, just win 3 battles. The practice ones were a lot harder this time then the ones I did at the start of the SO (fight 5 battles task).

Anyway, I ended up just doing regular tournament battles, and won all 3, no clue how.

Wow, I managed to get my silver up to exactly 399,999. So if I really needed to train somebody up to L13 right about now, TOUGH!

I'm at level 296 now, so not long to go before I get to 300. Only a few days more perhaps.

It still feels like it will be ages before I get all the heroes though. I can never seem to farm enough CPs. Once I get Cannonball, I will be down to my lowest CPs in a long time. I've always had about 200 CPs to spare for several months, but now I will only be down to 18.

If the future SOs usually require the more recent heroes from previous SOs, PVPs or general release 90 CP characters, then if they keep churning them out, it will take me ages to get the older ones. I've been trying to get Hulk for months but never seem to be able to manage to because something else always takes priority.

The one thing I didn't notice before I started leveling him was that he gets Empathetic Bond, which increases his attack. Getting a full amount of stacks of Empathic Bond for him increases his attack by almost a couple hundred and when added to any attack-boosting Isos, he becomes a heavy hitter in certain situations, especially when he counters enemy attacks.

I'd focus on past heroes honestly. Spec Ops heroes will be on sale eventually so it's not essential you get them during the Ops.

Well, if I had managed to get Cannonball back when he was in the SO, I wouldn't need to be farming CPs to get him now. So I'd rather have all the SO heroes from now on as that will save on CPs spent in the future.

On my way to trying to 3-star the first mission, my team keeps getting killed by the first wave in the combined boss fight so I have to abort in order for it not to be counted against me. But now I don't have enough UISOs to finish that mission today.

BTW I hate facing off against Cable in PVP. He's the most headache-inducing character with all his time shifting and whatever else he does. I don't even think I would like him on my own team if he does that.

Are you using your own agent in that fight? Seems to really help if you are having such problems.

Yep, I was using my agent. But several times in a row, Hammerhead and Blizzard and the other goon all had their turns first and killed off my agent with all their relentless firepower and iso corruption before I could even lay a hand on them. Once the agent was down, I had to abandon ship as that would count against my overall score, and I wouldn't even be able to survive anyway.

Only later on did I get another chance, and having at least one of my allies getting their go in made a huge difference.

It says that Squirrel Girl is coming in about 4 hours 47 minutes. How much CP is she going to cost? Is this going to be one of these limited offer deals (eg just for April Fool's) or will she be permanently available? Last time she was on sale it was only a limited time and might have been for a fairly substantial amount of CPs.

I still have nowhere near enough to recruit her, even if she is 90 CPs. If she is only available today, there's no way I can get the number of CPs needed. And if she is 200 CPs, well then forget it. I'm only at 39 CPs right now.

She was CO? I got her months ago somehow. This could be her getting a full release.

She was originally CO, then she had a limited release last year, but I didn't have enough CPs at the time to recruit her. I think Moon Knight and Sunfire also had a limited release last year too. I hope they eventually become permanent. I wasn't even playing at the time when these were CO heroes. But then, that's the same for some LB characters like Elektra, Dr Doom, Magneto etc. I would have no chance of getting them if they are never fully released.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you. I played at the beginning, then stopped for a year and a half, then came back for the SO that had Falcon as the reward. There are definitely LB characters I'd like to add, but I'm not gonna farm daily missions for them.

Getting into Adamantium is taking forever in this PVP due to there being far fewer participating players and the matchmaking system being really bad. I'm barely over 1300 rating after nearly a week in and it's taken a lot of fights the past few days to get enough rating points to get anywhere near Adamantium levels. It's only been the last day or so where I can actually get more than 10 points for a win.
