I'm pretty sure the Avengers' hopping out of the Helicarrier is the first thing that happens after Cyclops shoots at Cap in Avengers vs. X-Men #1, but then in some other issue someone throws Colossus into the Helicarrier and he starts wrecking it before any of the Avengers have hopped out.

yeah I noticed that and it bothered me. Depending on the book, the different side is more aggressive in the same scenes.

What's Gambit doing there I thought he stayed at the school? I thought only Iceman, Rachel and Angel joined up with Scott?

The current Legacy tie-in takes place after WatX 10, where Gambit decided to stay put. Considering the team gets into a brawl with the Avengers in Legacy, that might change his mind and cause him to join the battle

No, they all just kinda stand there after Cap gets blasted. Colossus crashing into the carrier is what causes them to jump out. Before that, they just kinda loomed there processing everything.

Yeah thats what happened in one issue but another one had the Avengers jumping down WITHOUT Colossus jumping at them. New Avengers 24 to be exact. Scott shoots Cap and then Cap says Avengers Assemble with Rulk telling the team to move and they jump. The main series has them all just standing there until Piotr attacks

Its not listed for AvX. Her fight is with Black Widow. The only way we are going to see that fight is in the pages of Uncanny or Avengers and I doubt it will be Uncanny as the last issue takes place during her fight and we didnt see it there

Neither is Emma and Rulk. At least Spidey fought Juggernaut before so his matchup with Colossus kinda makes sense.

I'm kind of glad we're getting some ridiculously one-sided fights. I mean, strategically, wouldn't you want as many of those as possible in your side's favor?

Anyway, another inconsistency this week: AvX: Vs. has Cap beating Gambit with a punch and his costume in tatters, while Avengers vs. X-Men has Cap beating Gambit with a shield-bash to the face and his costume perfectly fine.

Yeah, I flipped through AvX: Vs. just to experience the sweet, sweet satisfaction of seeing Cap totally own Gambit with ease.
