I can't believe I'm going to have to wait another year and a half to get into these :l In the UK's CE we're still on Heroric Age...

You should just buy the digital comics SecretNerdGirl, thats the beauty of them.

Remove her from the field to someplace that'd be safe. Knock her out since she's still got the body of a small teenaged girl. Call over the Red Hulk and the Thing to slow her down while the others regroup. All kinds of stuff short of stabbing a child in the face. But no, totally, going against his vow and trying to kill the girl he just swore he wouldn't makes Wolverine positively noble.

When exactly would Wolverine have had the time to stop, talk it over with the strategic players, and find a way to stop her without killing her, when the Phoenix was right there? It was either don't kill the kid and watch her potentially go kill every other kid on Earth (as it's killed every other kid on other planets already in this event), or stop her now and save everyone. He had seconds, he attempted to do what he had to do only after the girl asked him to (which has been their deal since before AvX even started).

I find no problem with that. It's like military personel in Iraq (and other places through history) who had to shoot kids with bombs strapped to them as they ran toward the American bases. Kill the unfortunate kid to save everyone's lives. It was horrible but necessary, and Hope is, to a fictional larger scale, very similar.

Oh snap, the fight that this event has been leading up to!

It just occurred to me that the Avengers are doing more to help/stop Hope than they ever did about Wanda.

"She wiped out a subspecies of humanity! We've got to find her!"
"It was only a few million mutants. I'm sure it'll sort itself out."

"Hope Summers might become the new Phoenix."
"CALL EVERYBODY!!!"

For real! They as a group really didnt do much to try and find her following M-Day. Poor Beast went on a world tour trying to track her down by himself. Kinda seemed odd that they just let Magneto take her and did nothing about it following Disassembled

Well they were Disassembled.

AvX 3 Spoilers. No surprise who won

Illyana defeats Black Widow and Collosus beats The Thing
The Illyana vs Black Widow was never fair to begin with. I think the only reason they were paired up was bc both are Russian

Colossus has been featured in each issue, hasn't he?

so is there any rumors of a company run reboot like DC did. I mean you have a character whose main purpose is destruction and rebirth fighting the character who(for the last few years anyway) has the power to change reality.

I haven't heard any such rumors, and doing that would be insanely stupid.

Some comics website said that. I can't remember the name of the site because I never heard of them before but some said that site is notorious for wild stuff like that.

I would chalk it up as wild speculation instead of a rumor.

They could just be speculating based off that "No More Avengers" pic Marvel released a few weeks back.

For real. Even if Marvel's higher-ups wanted to do that--which I'm pretty sure they don't because there's something of a different approach to comic-making there than at DC--they have ample reason to avoid it based on DC's experience with it. Sales on the majority of DC's New 52 titles are dropping like a stone now. It's a temporary boost at best; at worst, it alienates a lot of your longtime readers, who comprise a pretty big part of the market for comics these days.

Yeah, if anything, DC's New 52 serves as a deterrent against rebooting the entire universe for Marvel. Plus, I'm positive that DC will recon the New 52 a few years down the line, and restore it back to pre-52 with a new Crisis or something. DC just likes to reboot every once in awhile...it's their thing.

I still think it's going to be a role reversal of sorts between the Avengers and X-Men. The public will adore mutants and despise anything Avengers.

The elephant in the room for me is my namesake. Not quite a mutant. Not quite an Avenger. He loves his Unca Benjy though and he's an Avenger. He loves Leech, Artie, and Kitty Pryde as well.

Can the writers just ignore an important figure like Franklin Richards during this event? There was an event not that many years ago where he shoved all our heroes into a reality he created. It would seem that he would be a wrench in this storyline. Especially with Ben being so well represented in this event.

I dunno. Seems like we're either being setup for a deux ex machina or it's a giant editorial mistake.
