Wolverine joining the FF cannot be any worse than Spiderman joining them, or any of the other temp replacements.

Spider-Man's had strong ties with the Fantastic Four for years, so him joining the FF actually more sense than when he joined the Avengers.

Wolverine has no place in the FF. It'd be a much worse decision.

He's dead and I doubt he'll come back anytime soon. He wasn't that liked as a character so I'd expect The Sentry to come back before Daken.

According to an old VS card I have, Wolverine was already once an F4 member. Is that card mistaken? If not, it's not like this is treading on new territory.

He's dead and I doubt he'll come back anytime soon. He wasn't that liked as a character so I'd expect The Sentry to come back before Daken.

Frankly I'm getting a bit sick of these events where super heroes fight each other, instead of super villains. For Heaven sakes, there are tons of super villains out there, who are likely causing trouble, while the heroes are too busy getting into fist fights with each other to stop them.

Yeah, we're all tired of it. I seem to remember Spider-Man and Daredevil themselves once complained about people's fascination with the idea of heroes fighting each other.

It makes these heroes look like idiots if they can only solve their differences with fisticuffs. Aren't these people supposed to be responsible adults? After fighting with each other against common foes in past crossover events and even having people who served on both teams, you would think these two groups would more likely to solve things diplomatically.

It be ironic if Diablo conquered South America while the heroes are busy fighting each other. I wonder if all the villains go on vacation during these events where super heroes are fighting each other, otherwise you think they would use that time to try and get away with murder.

I'm not a hard-core Avengers fan, but when I do read them they always seem to be fighting the good guys.

I have to say I lost respect for pretty much all of the Avengers during Civil War. Mainly Cap and Iron Man. So I would love to see them get there asses kicked for a while.

I didn't really read his series, but I skimmed his last couple issues where he died. From what I gathered, his healing factor stopped working, from what I don't know, and he wanted to go out in a blaze of glory, and he ended up attacking the F4 for something and Wolverine got involved as well, and after they were chasing him and caught up to him in time square, he blew himself up.

I dropped his book due to finances an arc or two before that. I'm curious how the FF fight went since his being friends with them was one of the more interesting parts of his character for me. I vaguely remember skimming the issue and I don't think they showed him him dead, just caught up in the explosion.

And that'd be a crappy loss though. What I liked about Daken was that he was a heck of a fighter, insanely smart, and a strategic genious. A LOT could have been done with his character.

I felt that the writers (Way/Lui/Williams) all wanted to make Johnny all for it and reveal his as possibly being bisexual like Daken was. It seemed like at times he was almost in love with Daken.

He became addicted to a drug that came in pill form called "Heat". On top of the hallucinatory effects it also temporarily disabled Daken's healing factor. As his addiction continued, it eventually destroyed his healing factor all together and he was dying. As his last act of defiance, he went after Wolverine, the FF and the Avengers.
