I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that Jean won't be returning in AvX. I think Tom Brevoort stated that a few times on his Formspring. As far as how AvX ends? I guess they will kill Emma, since the beans have more or less been spilled that Cyclops survives. I hope they don't kill Emma but most likely she will be a sacrifice to Cyclops so he can redeem himself in time for MarvelNow.

I'd honestly be surprised if Cyclops dies at all, even though I can see him entering the White Hot room. I do wonder if Cyclops now will have some tangent Phoenix connection, and perhaps they'll link this to Sinister's fascination with him. Maybe even connect to this alternate dimension Scott's eyes are aperture's too. I mean after all the Phoenix is red as are his blasts. Maybe he, Colossus, and Magik are all the Phoenix's beacons, or something.

I also wonder if Marvel NOW! will kind of use the [BLACKOUT]death of Namor as a way to sort of conclude the whole Timely era, so basically ending the connection to Marvel's deepest past. That way they sort of start fresh without actually starting fresh.[/BLACKOUT]

The Human Torch/Jim Hammond is still around in Secret Avengers. He's in stasis due to injuries but now that Remender is revisiting that story, Hammond may appear again.

Dunno. I don't think Namor will be doing much for AvX. I think Namor probably goes back to Atlantis and sits the rest of the event out. If you have some other ideas or info I'm game to hear.

I bet most people thought Colossus was the most sane of the P5. Well scratch that bc as of the latest WaTX, he is borderline crazy. I almost expected him to grab her by the hair and take her to his cave bc she didnt agree to be with him. I guess the good thing is he set it up for Bobby to pick up the pieces

I love the idea of them together? Aaron has been moving slow with them but they keep popping up every few issues to remind us that there still is something brewing between the two. I hope he doesnt leave before he can make them official

Yeah, I didn't find anything really irritating about that scene. As I see it they're villain-izing the PF as much as possible leading to the ending of AvX. If Pete looks bad in the process, so be it. That's nothing new anyway they've been ruining him for years.

Kitty is awesome though. Nice to see her treated as a capable female heroine.

Some years back, was Colossus stuck in his armored form because someone warped the metal and it might be fatal if he changed back to flesh? He was cut open in some places, and it's not like he ever bled out or any organs fell out.

I didn't hate it. I thought this issue finally gave Piotr a personality which bc he's been a boring Phoenix host so far. He has 2 major forces inside him. He could only hold back so long before the rage started to consume him

Rachel left the mansion with Angel and Iceman a couple of issues back to go join the main fight in AvX. She wasnt around when Piotr showed up

That's the worst assessment ever of Wanda's role. She went from mentally unstable to angry then to amnesiac. You make her sound like she's been some buffoon incapable of doing anything right.
