a soccer mom will take her kid to see shrek w/o the husband (how many grown ass men do u know wanna sit throgh shrek)...and she will pay for herself and for a kids ticket...which is less...

I still think you can NOT USE THE INTERNET to get an idea on whos excited about a movie like Shrek 3. Most of the target audience of Shrek 3 do not even use computers for christ sake due to their ages & all of that crap

Whats your problem with Shrek? The first two movies were awesome. IN FACT, Shrek 2 was the highest grossing movie of 2004.

Agreed. In fact, you don't even need kids. What about little brothers and sisters? What about nieces and nephews? Cousins? Even people without kids take some children to see these types of movies.

Your not really paying attention. The reason that Shrek 3 is not hyped up as much on the INTERNET is because the MAIN TARGET audience of Shrek 3 really does not use computers. Shrek 3 is in a whole different league then movies like Spider-Man 3 & Pirates & yes PirateLord89 with your attitude you do need to grow up.

You are overestimating Pirates 3. But given your screen name Im not surprised. This summer is a whole different story then last summers. Im not saying Pirates 3 will fail but it has one hell of a fight to put up like all of the other movies do.
