MP would need Robin/Nightwing/Batgirl and that's not really something I'd wanna see.

I don't know how the hell you'd put MP into this game but that would be interesting. I'm really anxious to see what Rocksteady will go with for the sequal. I agree that just starting a new game is good for now for replay value I've played four games already but for the sequel I think it needs more than that.

Well the only games i can think of where you keep playing once the story is over are large sand box/GTA style games, and they do not need to turn this into that type of game. What they had for AA worked fine, no need to muck it up too much. I mean they already give you challenge maps, how much more do you really need.

Neither would I, but i was thinking something similar to what they did in the Chronicles of Riddick. Have some players as the thugs and one player as Batman. I personally dont think this game needs much more than what we were given in the first game, i mean we had the main single player game and we had challenge maps, that should be enough.

No they dont really need anything more than that. Want to keep playing, just start up another game. They dont have to keep the game going once the credits roll other than to go back and get some items you missed. Maybe some type of MP would would help.

Playing the game again isn't replay value. They should have at least had enemies reappear. It would have made finding the riddler clues a little more challenging. They didn't even have an option to play again with a different costume.

Replaying the game...isn't replay value? The term "replay," means, playing again, after beating game. As in playing it at least once more after completion (or in say something like Zelda's case, many times). Wandering around a game that you have already beaten will always feel a little bit empty. That is why you replay it as in, playing the game. Again.

Replay value generally refers to a reason to replay a game again, or keep playing the same game. Like different branching paths, side quests or unlockables. Simply playing the same game over again with nothing different is not really considered replay value, it's just a game so good you will want to play it over again.

^What Geo said. This didn't have much except collecting Riddler trophies you missed (and most you got the first time through) and the challenges (half of which are the same but with more complicated objectives)

They should have MP mode where you can have DM with one player being Batman, and the rest playing as his arch-enemies like Joker, Quinn, Killer Croc (although the size will be an issue), Riddler, etc. That will definitely prolong the interest for this game.

I hated going back the first time to get the rest of the riddles for that very reason. Just like a house feels forlorn without the people that live in it, a madhouse feels sad and empty without wackjobs being confined in it. :(

I was fine with it. An option for it, probably would have been nice.

Truth be told, the riddles and the trophies were always side-tracking me, and still do, during the main game. I might need to get to the batcave...but right now I need to figure out how to line up the riddler's question mark on the ceiling.

By the time I was done with the game, I had only a handful of riddles to solve anyway.

i never worry about all that stuff on my first play through. I always complete the story parts first and then go back and search for the trinkets, riddles, etc.

I am getting pretty good at the Challenges now. I got Silent Knight down to 57 seconds with Batman and 53 seconds with the Joker, putting me in the top 2,000 for both on the PSN Network and I have gotten Invisible Predator down to under 2 minutes and am actually in the top 1,000 out of like hundreds of thousands playing so I am very proud of that.

But man do I suck at the combat ones. Only the first one can I get all 3 metals. And as Joker I can only beat the first one period.

How do people like Joker in Challenge mode? I think he is really fun to play with, but he needs a few more gadgets and I'm disappointed that he has only two killing animations as a predator (kicking them in the nuts does not count). But hearing the guards get scared and start begging for their lives is really disturbing and sickly fun too. I just wish Joker had more to do in the game than play Challenges. But Joker on Challenge mode is far more difficult than the "Extreme" redos as Batman (as you still have Detective Mode and all his cool gadgets).

Thoughts? I am enjoying the mode for replay value.

I'd love to play as Robin and Nightwing if Robin got to have his bo staff that he has been using alot lately and those tonfa things that Nightwing on occasion uses.

is it embarassing that I still havent done a 40 move combo? :o
Not really..As I'd think there are some who still haven't done it either. But for me, I nailed it on my third try upon entering the fun house full of goons before squaring off against Joker. Possibly the most easy way to do it.

I got that achievement at some point during the combat challenges...don't even remember when I did it.

One of the hardest for me to finally get was doing a perfect combo with all of his combat moves...that took me forever.

I remember getting a 50 plus combo in the sewers.
I don't know if I ever got more than 60, I don't pay much attention to that...

Now that one..I still haven't done. :o

I did it in Sewer Bat Extreme...and it sort of took me forever, as I wrote out a full blueprint of how to do it and what move order to do it in order to finally get that one done.

what moves are part of that one?

Batarang
Combo Takedown
Combo throw
Cape Stun
Punch
Counter
Ground Takedown

I get bored halfway into the combat challenges. Predator ones are a lot more fun.
