Roger Craig Smith shows up in this if you can't hear it from the link, to their own site they're also on ITunes, YouTube and stitcher

Podcast

PS4, Batman Voice Actor, iPad Air, and More!

Vic waxes poetic about the new iPad Air, which he travelled all the way to New York City to meet. (Yes, the two of them met at the top of the Empire State Building, and they kissed with fireworks going off in the background.) Vic, naturally, is into it; Scott, not so much. In fact, Scott is crabbier than usual on today’s episode. Just warning you ahead of time. The boys also discuss the PS4, the state of games in general, and the lukewarm critical reception that Batman: Arkham Origins has received. Then—holy irony, Batman—the guy who PLAYS Batman in the game shows up to talk—duh!—MORE BATMAN. Yes, it’s veteran voice actor Roger Craig Smith, who always played another hooded assassin in a recent series of games. Which one? Find out by doing a little clicky-clicky on the triangle over there.

I would pay, like, $5 for this costume. Embarrassing as that is.

I don't care much for the Nolan TDK suit, but I would love his Begins suit. I wish a Batman '89 or Returns would be possible as well, I mean, they have an Adam West suit for crying out loud.

Has anybody else found the hidden gem that comes within the definitive edition statue yet? I have and it's really cool.

Still haven't beaten the story, and with the bag marked "Do Not Open Until Completing the Story", I guess I won't until I do.

Quick question, I just noticed in the list of unlockable Batsuits inside the Strategy Guide...it lists "New 52 Metallic" as under how to unlock, it says "DC Exclusive". Now, I thought for a minute it was simply the New 52 suit, but that one is listed already with a different way to unlock.

So, does anyone know how to even unlock the New 52 Metallic suit? I don't even think I've seen the thing online.

I can't believe they were able to pull off the Adam West suit. I thought, of all the Batman incarnations, that one would be impossible because of the issue between rights that FOX and WB have gone back and forth on with that tv series.

I really would be willing to pay, probably anything, for a movie pack. Batman Begins and TDK/TDKR would be perfect.

Just finished the main story, great game! Really enjoyed it, despite the minor hiccup with a bug about a 3rd of the way through. I liked this one a lot more than the first two, though I don't think I'd have enjoyed it as much without them preceding it.

I now have a copy of the Blackgate 3DS game. Off to play...

I just finished the firefly battle, ran into my first big bug during that mission. the game skipped dialog, batman would start talking and it abruptly stop before he really gets started, at one point batmans mouth was moving but no sound was coming out during a cut scene.

I finished the story mode then opened the bag that says "don't open until completing the story" in the back of the Joker statue and yes once you see what it is then review the story, all the signs where there once you see what said item is.
But please finish the story before opening the special bag because it will ruin the game if not finished.

I brought the deluxe hardcover origins walkthrough book wth litho pics. Have'nt looked through much of it but it's pretty good from what I've seen. The art book that comes with the definetive edition is great. short but great. The statue the lights up with all the assassins faces on the tv screens is killer. With all the little goodies that edition comes with I am so f'ing glad I got that one instead of the collectors edition. I have the Ps3 edition of orgins. The box itself is bloody huge. All I need to get is the replica grapple gun and Blackgate game then I think I'll have the complete "Origins Expericence".....Damn forgot about the album soundtrack.

I wonder how many of us waving our fists and red faced would it take if we demanded these movie skins... where they decided to supply the demand.

I bet if we, the ones that do want it, did it where they'd notice...it would be enough to make it happen.

Then again, how many people were pushing for ThrillKiller batsuit? Man, I don't think I'll ever get over the absurdity of there even being a ThrillKiller batsuit rendered in a game at all.

I'll say this, too. For what it's worth, Rocksteady put in noticeably more work into the alternate skins. They not only altered the bodies, ie: Neal Adams Batman looked leaner and more cut, while DKR Batman looked bulkier and built like a tank, but the faces were different for most. Clean shaven Batman, for example.

Not that I'm complaining. I'd take a Batman Begins batsuit even with a Batman who has stubble.

Also, apparently...The Dark Knight Batman suit (the one you unlock in game by completing The Dark Knight challenges) gets damaged the same way the Origins batsuit does. So, using it during the story, it will be damaged the same way in the same spots as the regular suit.

But, I've read that it might be a bug. And if it is, it'll get fixed in an update.

I don't mind if it gets damaged like the regular suit. But there should be the ability to switch to the undamaged one. Same with the regular suit. Since we have access to the Batcave, there is no reason why Batman couldn't pick up a new suit.

Very true.

The idea that, even with access to the cave, Batman wouldn't have extra suits is crazy to me. Especially considering how ****ed up his suit, and his cape for that matter, seems to get.

Id hope they keep that. I hated how in the last games the alt suits didn't take damage. That adds so much to the overall experience. It was the same with the Amazing Spider-Man. It was so bad ass getting into a battle with a giant spider slayer and then coming out all battle torn. Loved that little detail.

I think they're going to change it, for that suit atleast. From what I've read on Eric Holmes twitter feed, creative director at WB Games, it's a bug that the all black/gold belt version gets damaged. Hell, he might be the person to bug on twitter to see if we can get Batman Begin and TDK/TDKR batsuit pack. I'd say tweet at him or something to see if anything shakes.

And I like that the regular suit gets damaged too. But, on multiple playthroughs I'd like to see it hold up throughout. But, I'm speaking as someone who replays these games alot.

That's Eric Holmes' twitter page, btw.
