I haven't gone near this game since I completed the story mode all those weeks ago.

Just haven't had the urge and that says alot for me. I couldn't put Asylum or City down.

It's still a good game and I'll get to all the other stuff in time, but it just wasn't as interesting or exciting for me in the long run.

I feel the same way. I just don't want to play it, which is surprising considering how much I loved City. Even before it was released I came to accept that the game wouldn't bring much in the way of innovation. And yet somehow I still felt disappointed by it. I've had more fun playing the Multiplayer despite that game's matchmaking problems.

It doesn't have the same level of amazing that City did for me because City was all new. The gliding, the bigger map, all of the new moves. This one couldn't have topped all that again, so they just re-did it with a new story and map. Which is fine. I still love it and I play it almost every night. I find it just as fun as City and I love the Christmas vibe. It really is like an expansion, which I am fine with. I wouldn't want them to change things around too much.

I have a question.
I had to start I Am The Night mode to get one of the Dark Knight challenges so I can unlock the suit. If I continue it, and end up dying, do I lose my progress AND any progress I made on challenges/collectibles?

I just don't want to die and have to do that challenge againl

Considering picking this game up tomorrow, but I'm curious if the freezing and glitches have been resolved with a patch yet (for 360) or are people still having issues?

The matchmaking has gotten alot better after the last patch, atleast on PS3. It still can be a pain to get a game going, but it's certainly less broken than before. The multiplayer is still broken, but it's alot easier to deal with after the update.

The patch for Xbox 360 has undergone some unexpected delays throughout the approval process. Because of this, the teams are looking into combining Patch 3 and the next Patch into one for Xbox. Alright, so when I click Xbox hard drive for my save file the game freezes. I don't even get a list of options. Is this the corrupt file glitch that was referred to in this thread?

How do I defeat Deathstroke in the first fight on the ship?,We just keep countering each other and sometimes I counter him then there's a little animation and he hits me with his staff and I take lots of damage

You have to counter his counters. Very important to wait until you're prompted to counter, if you counter too soon Deathstroke will punish you. Keep changing your attacks too - cape stun and the batclaw slam worked well for me.

This may just be reading into things on my part. But I always got the feeling that Deathstroke knew, that whoever Batman was, was dressing up that way to instill his own fear of bats into other people.

Like, Deathstroke figured it out.

It does come off that way. Deathstroke understands Batman's methods and sees right through them. Much like Bane, really.

Loving this game and much better than I expected after the mixed reactions from critics&fans,So far no big bugs/freezes or glitches,Can't find an online match and seems I can't change the modes for it though

I really dig the crime scenes mode stuff and I guess the Bat Cave really is the reason why Batman didn't have all the old gadgets from this game in AA&AC since even here Alfred advises Bruce to return to the cave to pick up a certain gadget

I faced only one bug, the blasted thing refused to initiate the installation on my PC

Same here. I started playing game plus but got bored quickly. The fact that you don't get any real offensive weapons until the game is almost over annoys me. I loved using the remote charge in city but nothing here comes close to that. Deathstroke's claw would be great if they had a quick fire option but they don't.

Even though it was mechanically cruder than AC, I still prefer Origins over it. Sure, AC has great gameplay, but the shortcomings in the story really take away the joy from playing the game (at least for me.)

jonathancrane, it's just too bad Rocksteady couldn't have developed this game, then it would've turned this from a 6-8/10 title to a 9/10-10/10 title.

But yes, in terms of story and character I do think it blows City out of the water.

I think my main problem with City is that it ended so abruptly with so many unanswered questions. Granted a couple of them were resolved with in Quinn's Revenge, but I felt a little cheated that we didn't know what happened to Gotham civilians from the Titan infection, etc.

I'm on 360 and haven't had any freezing issue in weeks. Only glitches I've come across is host migration in multiplayer not migrating and you have to go back to the dashboard and open the game again.

I got this gem on Black Friday I currently played up to the first killer croc fight but I had to leave I will hopefully dive into it more later or tomorrow.
