I recently replayed Asylum and it was a letdown to not have things like the grapple glide and freeze bombs as well as just random gangs to fight.

same here. It's a pity enemies don't respawn in asylum.

So is it worse on PC? Surely WBM will do other patch for PC gamers.

Apparently a patch that came out sometime this month, broke something else (just on the PC version) which results in the problem I have already related.

There has been a lot of complaining about this and I am pretty sure the WBM know about it.

But I checked on Steam this morning and there is no change in the games status.

I have patience though and will just leave it alone for now, but will check periodically for updates.

That's not to say that I am not pissed of at WBM. I am royally pissed off with them. :cmad:

So what do you think the special event will be today, a new Dlc story or announcement for the next Arkham game?

hopefully its an announcement for arkham 3
but i'd be happy with a story dlc for origins

That's an unfair criticism.

It was the beginnings of the franchise and Rocksteady were simply building their foundation. It's not like you needed grapnel glide in AA anyway.

It's remarkable how well that game holds up. It still a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

And yes, I think today's reveal will be a story DLC announcement. Perhaps something to do with The Flying Graysons? :yay:

The only thing I have a bit of a problem adapting to now in Asylum, is the fact that you can't use quick gadgets during combat.

Exactly. It was first Batman game that didn't suck. I love the game it holds well next other two games.

As for DLC or Rocksteady new Batman game. I say it's a Dick as Robin DLC

Since I played AA first so many times, I have no problem with that. whenever I play AC or AO I sometimes forget that I have quick gadgets to use.

You are cordially invited to the Humanitarian of the Year Awards at Wayne Manor on New Year’s Eve.

If we can run around Wayne Manor, that would be fantastic.

Seemed obvious to me it was gonna be to announce origins dlc. Def gonna be some sort of Freeze origins going on which will be awesome I think. Heart of ice anyone? :)

It could also be a Harvey Dent story...

Perhaps Bruce has to save Harvey during the event at Wayne Manor.

They have the Robin character model already for the multiplayer. I'd be happy if it is a Robin intro DLC story.

Truth be told I'd love dick's /Robin's story to show up as DLC, But some how I think he'll be in the sequel to origins if it happens , which I won't mind and it'll make sense and also set up some stuff for Babs too. We'll see what happens.

If they have Robin be a main focus in the sequel then all the better I say!
Umm let's not use the word main focus but he'll be an important part of it. there's alot that can be done over all with the sequel. if it happens Just saying.

Rewatching Batman 89... The grapple gun he uses at the end to attach Joker to the gargoyle is very similar in concept to Deathstroke's grapple gun

It's why I reiterate that with in the story of Arkham verse batman reverse engineered it from that after he ripped it off from death stroke. and ninja's have a habbit of takin weapons off of enemies they have defeated. it been hint sine the day's of both Optimus and Rodimus g1 in tranformers and heck even Naruto if you ever seen that has that concept with technique or certain weapons or tools be taken . if a Ninja find's it of interest in use they will take it and make it their own . It's just what they do. It's just an origin to how he came about some of that tech like the Crypto scanner.

They even announced it as much before the launch of this game in one of the many looks to the game to games news media . where as in the movie he just made it. ether it's still cool.

Did Alfred not mention a New Year's party in Arkham Origins in one of those optional dialogue segments?

I think this figures into it. Maybe Wayne Manor is under siege?

I know during some of the crime scene missions when talking to Alfred about the suspect, he mentioned Bruce's Halloween party. I'm gonna keep an eye out though for a NYE reference.

I could've sworn there was a NYE Alfred mention.

I mean it makes sense. Origins takes place on Christmas Eve. Have the story DLC a few days later for New Year's.
