I just bought this, just started playing... How is this so glitchy?

I see there are patches but how do I dl to my ps3?

I can't even fly around without freezing, it's like gaming on a windows 98 computer.
Antman, if you're PS3 is connected to the internet, it should automatically download the patches in its automatic updates I think.

Call me crazy, but after beating this game last week, I really think it's the best of the three. I think it took all of Rocksteady's concepts and elevated them to the next level. The designs were way better, Detective Mode was way better, and Batman looked SO MUCH BETTER. He looked absolutely perfect - the best he's ever looked in almost any medium (maybe minus those gloves). His ears in AA and AC were too damn long - it was almost a distraction.

I have this on XBox360 and there wasn't a single bug or glitch for me. I really don't think I have a real complaint about this game. For me it was perfect.

Rocketman, just in terms of overall gameplay, I think City is the best because the combat and everything is so smooth.

But there are certainly things I like better about Origins. I like gadgets like the remote claw the best, it's my favorite gadget ever in this franchise. I like the Batcave and also that you can do the challenge maps or training maps during the game and you can improve your overall stats through the maps as you play the campaign.

The challenge maps are also a TAD easier which could be good or bad depending on how you feel.

But I really think the boss fights in this game were fantastically constructed and a great advancement of Arkham City.

Also while I think City had the best overall controls and combat, I think Origins had better hit detection for double counter moves and hits. Frequently in City, my Batman would start a double counter move and only grab one enemy while not being close enough to grab the other thug who still gets a hit in and breaks up my combo.

All good points.

One thing I really appreciated (and maybe this is a small nitpick), is that Origins was better with camera angles during boss fights. This is kind of hard to explain, but in AA and AC, if a boss was charging at you, throwing a body at you (or some object), or was in your general vicinity, sometimes it was hard to see that they were coming because Batman was taking up the whole screen - or the center of it - and you had to maneuver around just right to see the boss at the right angle. This was getting extremely frustrating because I was getting hit and there was no excuse for me to get hit if I saw what was happening. The only time it really happened in Origins was during the Deathstroke fight because it was an arena environment, so I found myself "circling" Deathstroke more. Hopefully some of that makes sense lol.

Agreed about the horns, I hate them being too long

Not even the Burnley Tower glitch?

Bat ears were perfect for me in AA and AC. I didn't like them in AO or the suit overall.

I need to unlock the Adam West suit
How do I unlock it?

The new XE Batsuit from the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins DLC "Cold, Cold Heart"

Love it. I can't wait for that DLC. Less than 2 weeks to go.

Looking forward to this. The suit looks much better in higher resolution.

Nice

I hope this DLC is worth the wait

It does remind me of the Firefly suit as well. Crazy looking suit though :D .

I just ordered to rent this game on Gamefly, I'm hoping I enjoy it as much as the former two games. They can be a bit repetitive but I don't mind since the stories are always good. Prior to this I just had Injustice and while I enjoyed it I was more than happy to send it back after I beat the storyline, fighting games just don't do it for me haha. Not sure what to rent after this, possibly Dark Souls2, I hear its a really hard game so that might be interesting to try out.

Got the season pass on Steam for £3.50

I got all these badass alternative suits + all the DLC including the one coming.

Gotta love Steam.

Must have missed a deal there ;) €18,99 now for me

So, is the Blackgate Deluxe edition a download-only thing or what? I don't see it listed on any websites to buy

Suit looks great. Really looking forward to this. Enjoyed the Initiation DLC, even though they were a set of challenge maps, but liked the story elements connected to them.

Check out the Teaser Trailer for my short film Deathstroke: Arkham Assassin... based on Arkham Origins!

:yay:
