Batman: Arkham Origins

I'm replaying Origins too. Fun little tidbit, during the police station level, I zoomed in on newspapers and they where all dated December 21 - 23 19--, meaning AO took place in the 90's and way more than five years before Asylum.

Id hope so, but haven't the dev's confirmed its a 5 year gap? I mean i never really bought that, nor did I even think it was a good idea to set the gap so small in the first place.

I'm Also replaying origins and cold cold heart. Just love this game so much :)

I really should jump on the expansion packs. I haven't yet and the Deathstroke one is free for me.

Just finished Origins and thinking of getting Asylum for PS3 (I played it on X360, but when it died for the second time I replaced it with a PS3 and never had a chance to replay.

Five years makes no sense. AO Batman is in his 20's and there's no way AA/AC Batman wasn't in his late 30's/early 40's.

I Am the Night mode was a pain in the keister. Stupid snipers.

I agree. When they came out and said it was a 5 year gap a bunch of us here were talking about how that just makes no sense and you just make it difficult for you to create sequels which im sure WB wants.

Consider that Babs is 15 in AO and the timeline makes even less sense.

The Home button is your friend when playing on the 360. Just died unexpectedly? Simply hit Home, reload the game from the Dashboard, and voila! You'll restart from the last save point. No idea how I would have managed the Bane rooftop fight without that one.

So those of you who downloaded the Cold Heart DLC, was it worth it?

Oh, I guarantee after Arkham Knight we're getting a ton of WB Montreal games set between AO and AA. Guarantee it.

The best thing to do, like I is just ignore what they said haha. They said 5 years. I simply ignore that and have my own idea/image of the timeline in my head. Try it, it works haha.:yay::cwink:

Would love to see a sequel with two face, riddler, poison ivy as main villains. Any of the three.

Eh heart of ice was really just the btas series. nothing special.

That's exactly what made it special. It was the video game embodiment of BTAS' episode. The definitive Mr. Freeze portrayal.

Allow me to chime in and cite that Cold, Cold Heart was well worth the money. I mean, I had a free season pass that I spent $0, but you get what I mean.

I was on PS3, so my cheat of choice was just periodically backing up the game save data. Although, I did restart once on the first Bane fight after I dropped the controller and he walloped me a couple of times (Thank you, vodka). Other than that, it was never a boss fight; always something stupid like not paying enough attention to the aforementioned stupid snipers or trying to glide off a platform and, instead, jumping to a ridiculous death.

Whatever. That trophy is mine now! :cmad: :o

Certainly, much better than Harley's Revenge.
It just kinda frustrates me that we can't use the new suit for too long. Once the DLC is over, there isn't much else.

Yes it's worth downloading the DLC. I loved everything and yeah I wonder wby we couldn't use EX batsuit in the challenge?

And it was better than Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC.

Also I like Roger Craig Smith so I want to see him do more Batman in the future.

At least they gave us the free roam option after CCH. I'm still a bit salty there was no such thing in HQR with Robin.

And, yes, allowing the XE suit use in challenges would have been gravy; even if they weren't 2-3 challenges specific to the DLC.

Cold, Cold Heart was amazing.

In fact, playing through Arkham Origins a second time, I really like the game more overall than I did on first play through.

The Deathstoke and Firefly fights are fantastic. The first Bane fight in the hotel wasn't great, but the final one was tops. I think a few of the side missions copied Arkham City way too much though.

Honestly, I'm very comfortable for the adventures of young Batman to continue with WB Montreal after Arkham Knight is done and dusted.

Multiplayer trophies are required for the platinum trophy? :argh:

I know how you feel. I got everything for both Asylum and Knight, but once I got all of the single player trophies for Origins, that's when I quit.
