DittoTDK > Iron Man > Batman Begins
DittoTDK > Iron Man > Batman Begins

Well, I already said why I consider IM to be a better franchise 'starter' but I do in fact think it to be a better movie then both Batman films as well.I just dont see why so many people consider Iron Man so special, it was a very good movie, but it was cliche, brought nothing new to the table and was nothing spectacular IMO.
While I agree that the new Batman franchise is very good. Ive seen plenty of brooding non-superhero movies with the same emotional and philosophical depth, so I can think of a few examples that are much better suited for what BB and TDK tried to deliver.BB and TDK on the other hand, were both simply stunning. And before you ask, no, i'm not a Batman fan.

Same here.I voted for Batman Begins.
Actually I'm really surprised by how close the votes are between Begins and Iron Man. Don't get me wrong Iron Man was a brilliant film, but to me the whole Nolan Batman franchise is something really special, far superior to most normal superhero fare. Iron Man was good, but for me, only as good as the first Spider-Man and X-Men films.
As a franchise starter, I think IM is better than BB, X-Men, Spider-man. IM may be an action movie, but it's not all action; in fact, Downey appears in vast majority of scenes sans his mask, and his protrayal of Stark is what makes the movie so good. Just because it has more action than BB doesn't mean it's all action-driven.
IM has the fun factor. It's a film everyone can enjoy. As marvelous as the Batman movies are, not everyone will get them and appreciate them.

You took the words right out my mouth! Its a good film I had fun but why do people concider it to be 'amazing'...it was full of cliches and it wasn't visually spectacular, it was just a fun film. I give it a 8/10..its NOT amazing like people stay and I still don't understand how it got a freakin 93% of the tomatoemeterI just dont see why so many people consider Iron Man so special, it was a very good movie, but it was cliche, brought nothing new to the table and was nothing spectacular IMO.

...Even Hellboy II was a better film and that got a 88%. Whoa!! You lost me hereRishi said:I love them both. IM grossed more so I'll say it was a better franchise starter. Alot of people still don't even know that BB exists
...Its sequel is the second film to make 500 million dollars in the box office, so how do a lot of people not know Batman Begins exists?
Well, no wonder you don't understand.I give it a 8/10..its NOT amazing like people stay and I still don't understand how it got a freakin 93% of the tomatoemeter...Even Hellboy II was a better film and that got a 88%.
