Apocalypse Ben Hardy Joins the Cast of ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

While I actually wouldn't mind if he was angel as he does look the part I am abit skeptical because it would be changing his age and presumably ignoring his existence in X3, unless they are gonna try and say he was actually older then we think in X3 (or his wings make him age slower... Yeah reaching much)

Also skeptical because there are so many other characters in the x-men universe that he could be that while he looks like angel the obvious answer Might not the be the right answer and bryan singer often puts his own views over fan service or expectations so unless there is a good reason for his involvement I doubt bryan singer will feel any pressure to use him

Kinberg already said that messing with time means some characters could be born earlier in response to Warren's inclusion which presumably means they will take that route. I can see Apocalypse aging him as part of the Horseman transformation

Who was credited as Kayla's Sister, making her Emma Silverfox. Pretty sure they never stated Moiras age in TLS either so she could be the same lady, and while we're at it Trask in TLS was never called Boliver Trask nor was he credited as such

Angel however was called Warren Worthington, so that'll be a Retcon unless they have a voice over at the beginning stating that due to the time intervention certain mutants were never born others were born later and others born sooner

ignored from last Stand with first class.With DOFP danny Huston's version of stryker was clearly ignored.Josh helman was playing young version of Brian Cox's version.If Ben hardy is playing Angel they are clearly following the pattern.while nightcrawler will be brought into X-Men's world much sooner than in original timeline with trilogy set sometime in 2000's the age can be consently with adult nightcrawler In X2 even though events of trilogy won't happen now.

It's best to proceed with notion only FS and DOFP-1973 scenes,new future ending,post credit scene -matter now.far less headaces that way.Angel would
have to be around age of cyclops,jean,and storm if ben hardy is playing him.The best explantation to explain this is only FC and DOFP count now.
Angel was not in future ending of DOFP so he's fair game for use in apocalypse.

let's not forget singer had plans in X2 to use angel as prisoner of stryker who was expermented on and that's how he got metal wings.If hardy is indeed angel I think it's very likely he becomes archangel.A film with apocalypse as villain and having angel in it would scream archangel.A case can also be made archangel is more intresting than Angel.

I'll conceded hey were intended to be those characters but thanks to the on-screen execution there is no contradictions between the eventual versions of those characters and the intended versions.

Just think of the original trilogy and the "first class" trilogy as separate time lines. The events of the first movies happened in a vacuum and now we are seeing a completely fresh timeline. The more holes you poke into it the worse it will seem.

I like the idea of Hardy playing Angel, it makes sense given the source material. I just hope that Magneto doesn't pull some **** and become the main threat like he did in DoFP or First Class. Dude is getting tired.

i doubt they will go the route of apocalypse kidnapping a baby so he can age him to late teens or early 20s to be a horseman, as it asks why bother at all? because the comics demand it? just get another mutant whose already grown

although it does ask the question when does mutant powers kick in? i remember in the 90s animated series it was said they didn't kick in until puberty and in the film series we see rogue in her early teens seemed to be unaware of her powers while charles was about 12 or something in FC when he had his powers

someone on IMDB has voiced the idea what they they do a similar thing they did with origins with sabertooth, like victor in origins, sabertooth in X1

Hope not. Singer tried to do that rapid aging thing with the Superman Returns sequel. Too weird of a plot contrivance.
