The twists are wearing thin on me... ever since the Sixth Sense movies are starting to just write in endings that no one else will expect that heck... even the writers would piss their own pants... go see Perfect Stranger and you will know what I am talking about... I mean... I vomitted... literally.
The Usual Suspect sucks because the twist does not work in the context of the story. When you have a twist that negates the rest of the movie, you have failed. It means the director could not think of a truly shocking ending that worked within the context of the rest of the plot he created, so he makes something that negates the rest of the plot. It is really lazy, when you actually think about it.

This is probably the best cinematic twist i had encountered, I had NO IDEA about it at all...Suprised The Others hasnt been made mention of, even though I watched it with my girlfriend and really pissed her off by being like " OH SHE AND THE KIDS ARE *****!". Hated me for like the whole night.
Unbreakable had a great twist.
This is the funniest thing i have heard all day man, that was a good laugh, thank you.Titanic, when the ship sank I was like "whoa, didn't see that one coming".

the problem with most films is that you see there is a twist coming, this just came from the left field and smacked me in the face...
it's pure genius but unfortunately unlike memento or fight club, it doesn't really do much with repeatability.
you only ever need to watch it once. Maybe that's why it's not high on the list.
What was the twist?
Halle Berry is the real killer, but it doesn't make sense, since even when she was alone in certain scenes (and knew she was alone) she acted like she didn't know who the real killer was. It would make sense if she had a personality disorder like in Fight Club, but she didn't.
