BP/Storm guest list

Joey Q: We need a big event, lets marry someone.

Bendis:How about Tony and Carol?

Joey Q: Nah, not interesting enough.

JMS:How about Aunt May and Jarvis?

Joey Q: Too old, we need something the kids would love.

Hudlin: How about Storm and Black Panther.

Joey Q: Hmmm interesting why those two?

Hudlin: I dont know, theyre both African.

Joey Q: Is there anything in continuity that would make this work?

Hudlin: No, not really, I can always just make stuff up in my book.

Joey Q: Works for me!

To be fair, I remember seeing something about the two meeting in Priest's run, but at that time, ole' T'Challa's balls had not even dropped yet. :o

Eh, I heard that the latest arc with Luke Cage and Blade wasn't so bad, but that first arc damn near made want to kick my own ass. :o

Thank God the last arc wasn't so bad too, because if Hudlin did the same to Blade (who shouldn't give a flying f**k about race--he only cares if you're a vampire or not), I'd have to storm his office.

Anyone who messes up Blade gets the same treatment--if Bendis f**ks him up in USM...

Hudlin wrote a very badass Blade and an awesome Cage.As you mentioned,Blade didn't care about race.

I'm still a bit confused about this whole relationship. Just seems like it comes out of the blue.

It's basically a story which came out of stories from the past.

Good, good, now I just have to worry about Bendis...:o

Then where's my invitation?

Youre not a superhero, and im sure we'll all be able to watch it on BET, right after 106th and Park.

So you mean Diddy's doing the music for the wedding?

"Uh. Uh. Uh. Ha ha. Here comes the bride. Uh. Uh. Dat ***** be all dressed in white."

Nah, he sampled the Wedding March and got some old rhymes Biggie recorded that we never heard of.

On a serious note:
They have a history of crossing half of Africa together,.. having adventures and seperating at some point because Ororo decided that her path lead to Kilomonjaro (sp) instead of to Wakanda.

The bitter grapes here with the whining is getting old guys.

I don't like it because I don't think she deserves him.

She's too,............................ bougie for him,.. and nowhere near as smart,...(she's no dummy, but not even in his league,.. yet she is arrogant enough to try to get into his business...), While I appreciate strong women,.. part of her problem is that she rarely runs into men romanticaly who are more intelligent than she is.

Forge? I waffle on that since most of his intelligence is a mutation.

BTW,... Bishop could be crying for THREE in Canon reasons:

1. He's from a future and knows who she married in his time -

a. crying because it's not who he knows and realizes his history is gone.(sister etc,..)
b. crying because it is who he knows and realizes he hasn't changed history like he wanted to. (his history was hell)
c. Crying because he had had thoughts after he was stranded of wooing her,.. but they were almost always on oposite x-teams.

Im sorry the "history" you guys keep bringing up are like a couple of old issues that probably had 4 or 5 pages devoted to this storyline. If Storm was to marry one person it wouldve been Forge.

LOL

I'm laughing because there is NOW a size requirement on canon.

Using your logic,... too many things that are accepted about Superheroes become moot.

The history happened,.. it was refered to in more than one comic, NOT COUNTING the current BP,

And no matter how much you deny it,... Ororo Spent MONTHS alone with T'Challa crossing Africa before she spent WEEKS alone with Forge in that Pocket dimension.

He's (T'Challa) the closest thing she has to "childhood sweetheart"

When Push came to shove Forge didn't "man-Up" and ask her properly.

There isnt a size requirement at all. Its just that, If I wanted to I could take random events from old issues and say that Wolverine and Cyclops were destined to be gay lovers.

That's a bit much.

Hopefully Isiah Bradley is actually at the wedding. It's about time writers have started using him.Kudos to Heinberg and Hudlin.

Heh,.. that picture was WOLVERINE acting as though he were Kitty-Pride as he jerked her chain for trashing the mansion in her running battle with the "N'Bari"? (sp).

Doesn't count in context.
