I've been marathon-ing with a friend of mine who hadn't seen Season 1/2 before.

Hard to remember how meek Walt used to be. :P

Yeah the past week I've been going through a Breaking Bad mararthon, so far I just finish watching season 3 episode 2. Just seeing the Salamanca brothers in a scene is amazing.

i assume that the first 8 episodes will show us the rise of walter white/heisenberg as the new kingpin and the last 8 episodes will show us the fall, probably with jessie finding out that walter was responsible for several things that happend to him and also hank getting closer to the secret. it would definitely match vince gilligans view of the character walter white. the rise and fall of walter white. just like he stated that it will be somehow like tony montana in scarface. the guy who had almost everything but in the end lost it almost completely...until he reached a certain point..

What are the over/unders on walt dying?

I sort of feel that its been so set up that walt will die that they may actually pull the switch on us and have him live through the series.
I actually think it would be super dark if he is somehow the only one who does.
