i get chills when i see that last pic...

I've been thinking about the watch, and it's clearly symbolic of something, but what? Skyler marking time until the cancer comes back? Skyler's imminent demise? Someone else's demise? "You're a time bomb, tick-tick-ticking"? All of the above?

first: as walt said, even someone who wanted him dead, changed his opinion
second: the clock is ticking, his time is up, the end is near..he just doesnt know it..

I know it's never really mentioned on the show but it seems that walter doesn't have any friends and hasn't had any for a while at least pre-cancer even.

I mean it seems the only people outside his own direct family and business he has any relations with are his brother in law and sister. I have a feeling the show wanted to keep the cast limited and maybe not have the best friend character around but it seems a bit odd.

Walt is living on SO much borrowed time at this point.

Started watching Breaking Bad last month and I've now watched every episode so far.

I kept hearing good things about the show but wasn't sure I wanted to start watching the show seeinga s it was 5 seasons in but I'm glad I did.

Its a good show. Its a shame it got buried like the Wire in the UK by networks Five USA and FX.

If they stuck this show on channel 4 or in a primetime slot it would be far more popular over here.

I've seen every episode, but only once and when they originally aired. Why am I forgetting why he's called "The One Who Knocks"? Can somebody refresh me? Was that from Season 2 or 3 because 4 is fresh in my mind and I don't think it's from that season.

I'm pretty sure it is from season 4.

Its when he gloats to Skyler that he's not the one who gets killed when somebody answers a knocking door in reference to Gale.

Ah, best line from the show.

Along with "Just because you shot Jesse James, doesn't make you Jesse James"

God, I can't get that bedroom scene out of my mind. The look of desperation when Skyler was realizing she has no move left and Walt?!? Just WOW! There are gonna be Emmys galore for this season. I want Mike to get one damn it. I've only seen him in one other thing before and that was in Buckaroo Banzai and he looks WAAAAAY different back then and with dark hair lol

That actually kind of makes me sad. Though Walt is technically more successful business-wise than he's ever been in all reality his life is degrading. As Mike said he is a ticking time bomb to an inevitable, terrible conclusion.
