You could see on Skyler's face how she was beginning to understand that Walt isn't just a criminal, he's like a master chess player when it comes to comes to crime. And oh my god the audacity of Walt strolling up to her at the end of the episode and more or less saying, "I'm going to manipulate you into liking me again."

Yeah, he's got her trapped and she wants out. My jaw dropped when she said she wanted the cancer to come back.

I knew that's what she was going to say, but it still stung hearing her say it out loud.

It really was. You could feel Skylar's increasing desperation. Up until that point I thought she might actually start getting suicidal.

Walt's 51 mug, probably a gift for his birthday. In the shot of Skyler smoking, Walt looks like he's sitting in it. I think Skyler's got him in a "good" place for now, but that watch is ticking.

EDIT: Yeah, the mug was a gift.

DBL EDIT: That zoom in on Walt was so great. Walt did start out thinking of his family, but soon it became all about him.

You know, I read some alleged spoilers (which I don't think are legit by the way since a couple have been proven false), but one of them stated that [BLACKOUT]Walt is going to kill Skyler. Like not with the ricin or anything like that, but with his bare hands, he's going to straight up choke her out.[/BLACKOUT] I swear I thought that was going to happen right then and there in the bedroom if it escalated any further.

Can't believe we are already half way through this half of the season. I feared for Skylar a lot through this episode right up into the bedroom scene. Just was not sure when Walt had enough of her making things difficult for him.

great episode...the dialogues between walt and skyler were awesome. skyler saying to walt that she waits for the cancer to "come back" was massiv, walt's face...wouldnt suprise me if walt "kills" her, after all she wants to take the kids away from him....and i also looking forward to see what will happen with lydia..

Is it weird that I think Lydia might be the hottest lady in the series? She's a total tightwad but still....

Also yeah the acting in this episode was stellar. S*** is definitely beginning to officially get real. The fact we only get half of this season this year is a crime.

I'm really curious about where Skyler goes from here. As she said herself, she's too much of a coward to go to the police and rat Walt/herself out....and as Walt pointed out, keeping the kids away really is just a short term solution.

There's something about the way that Walt spoke too that made me doubt that he would hurt Skyler physically due to not being able the stand the idea that his kids would think he's a wife beater.

I don't see Skyler lasting until the second part of the season anyway. Perhaps Walt will get to the point over the next few episodes where he sees Skyler as dispensable but won't do the dirty work himself, perhaps ordering Mike to do it.
