the flip phones are burners. meaning prepaid cellphones which are cheaper.
Goof shmoof. THIS SHOW IS PERFECT.I remember a poster in Los Pollos Hermanos back in season three or four that said "VOTED BEST CHICKEN 2010". Another goof?
People still have flip phones.

Too many people sad over Mike to watch episode 8.
I'm not a fan either, but at least I'll be distracted by Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, TWD, Sunny, etc etc.I mean, the final 8 episodes next year could be considered the 6th season but it's just like Sopranos last season and broken up into two halves. I don't even like thinking about how we have to wait another year. It's really gonna suck waiting for this **** to come back
When Walt is meeting with Todd's uncle, there's a reference to the Bin Laden assassination. I'd always assumed the show was taking place in 2007 or 2008, given when it started and how little time has passed for Walt, but that's a much more recent reference. When does this show actually take place?
Vince Gilligan: We do have a few inoncsistencies here and there, to be sure. We try not to set it in any particular time. Going backwards, I don't think we ever say. We do have clues, like in the first episode, Walt's hanidcap placard has the date 2007 on it, which if I had my druthers, I'd go back and change. Every now and then you'll see a license plate or something else, like a plaque in Pollos Hermanos saying it was voted "Favorite Restaurant 2010." As time has progressed, a few of these things have slipped by. But in my mind's eye, this is the present. What I mean by that is, I like people in 2007 thinking this is the present, and now in 2012 thinking this is the present. At a certain point, 20 years from now, it will, based on clothing and technology and cars, it'll begin to feel more of a specific time, but in my mind's eye I see it as continually the present. That's also why we don't ever say what month it is.
My prediction for how it's all going to play out, and I don't expect any of this to be right:
Once Walt finds out that Hank knows, he's forced to make the tough decision and leave his family for a life on the run. That takes us back to where we found him at the start of the season. However, Fat Hugh Jackman, being unable to find Heisenberg, hunts down Jesse and kidnaps him to force him back into cooking. Walt catches wind of this and returns to Albuquerque to rescue Jesse. Todd, who has become the main cook, is killed by Walter in order to save Jesse. Unfortunately, the return to Albuquerque ultimately costs Walter, as Hank is able to catch up to him and arrest him. The last shot of the season is Walter in prison as two neo-Nazis - ostensibly hired by Todd's uncle for the purposes of revenge - approach Walter, armed with shivs. Right before we watch the death of Walter White, the screen goes black. Credits roll.
How would it get a season 7 when it isn't even getting a 6th season?
