Breaking Bad - Part 3

Just finished watching the first four seasons on Netflix and debating if I should watch the first half of season 5 and then wait or just wait for it all.
Well, you can wait it out and avoid spoilers for the next 10 months, or you can just go ahead and watch the first half of season 5, and be able to talk about it with everybody.

That make sense, I heard (I think it was from Vince) that Walt was saving someone in that flash forward in S05E01. Could it be a firefight between Walt (and his M60) and the cartel?
Yes, Vince is the one who said that Walt is trying to protect someone, hence his return to New Mexico.

The cartel leader that Walt made say his name.
Not cartel.

Didn't you?
No...why would he have a gun on him when Walter came? For funzies? He thought Walter might kill him. He's getting paranoid again was my point...like when he was on drugs. He never thought Walter was going to kill him before when Mike and Jesse both wanted out. Jesse has also held a loaded gun to Walt's head just last season so I don't know why Jesse all of a sudden thinks he's a target, held up in his house. Also last season he acted like he was invinceable around actual danger when he battled Mike's wits. Why the sudden change from badass to coward?

Watch it all! It's too good to wait for. 1 year is a long time

This show has spent a lot of time making connections between Walter Junior and driving, or just cars in general and the last episode showed him pushing Holly in a toy car.

What is this building to?

Personally I've always felt that Walter Jr. is doomed. No way he gets out of this series scott free.
It's been obvious to me that Jr. is going to die in a car accident ever since they showed him trying to learn to drive. They wouldn't spend so much time on it if he doesn't get jacked up.

Would be kinda poetic for a meth addict to jack his car and kill him. Or, some of the competition taking him out to send a message.

Was the book Hank was reading in the final scene the same book he had shown Walt in the flashback, or another book Gale had signed?

Seems to be a Walt Whitman book Gale gave him while Hank has the lab notes.

I was expecting someone like Walt Jr to get shot during the second last scene.

Remember the episode where Jesse bought Walt the watch and in the end of the episode he put the watch on a book. Well that book was the one Gale gave Walt. I love how Gilligan just gives us hints throughout the seires.

Ah. The look on Hanks face was priceless.

I was expecting something to happen to Walt Jr or the baby before that final scene.

I actually can't get that Chrystal blue persuasions song out of my head. I wonder when it comes to the last montage song of the series what could it be?

I mean they obviously saved chrystal blue for a while for the right moment. I wonder what they could top it with?

That gif of the brother's in law is a great reminder of the rivalry for the ages that's about to ensue. Bet your asses there will be a scene were they're in one of their houses playing dumb for their families. Walt's come so far.

I only hope one of the malcom in the middle kids shows up in this show.

"No shanking" becomes "shank everyone."

So, what do you guys think Hanks next move is? Help Walt? Chase him?

Help Walt? Seriously dude? I dunno what to think man, this is one of the single most unpredictable shows I've ever watched but I absolutely do not see Hank trying to help Walt at all. I see Hank biding his time and doing LOTS of research about Walt. I would think that he would pick apart every single piece of information he can find on his brother in law for the last say 15-18 months. He'll take all the knowledge he already has like the fugue state, the car wash, Skyler's behavior, the gambling etc. All of it. Then, honestly, I see Hank going to Jesse. When I sit and think about it I think Jesse might help Hank take him down maybe in an effort to save Walt's soul or something like that. Think about the past that Hank and Jesse already have. Hank beat the living dog **** out of Jesse and Jesse was determined to make his life a living hell after that and I actually forgot what stopped him but I can totally see Hank going to Jesse and saying something like "Jesse, first let me tell you I am not here in any official capacity. Everything I'm here to talk to you about is off the record and I will consider it confidential. But I need to talk to you. I need to talk to you about Walter White." DUN DUN DUUUUN!!!! Lmao for real though I can definitely see something very similar happening.

Yeah, I can see something like that. Hank taking steps to find out information on Walt. I say it will be a personal investigation. I doubt he will even tell Gomez or Marie. I can see a family dinner and Hank just staring down Walt as Walt laughs and jokes about something for some reasons haha.

Yea that thought about Marie and Gomie occurred to me too but I forgot to mention. If any of you all have noticed in my ramblings I have BAD add/adhd lol

Holly ends up being a DEA robot baby that was born to spy on Walt.
