Breaking Bad - Part 3

Hey remember when marie mentioned that the kids have been living with her for 3 months? when did that big jump in time come in?

Don't the majority of episodes esp. this season it seems seem to take place the following day or sooner after each other? At which point was there this big increment of months coming?

As for how much money was in the locker this is what 100 million in stacked 100's looks like next to a person.

Now remember though skylar mentioned there were mixed denominations in the pile so they are not all 100's.

The time jump happened during the meth montage. You didn't think they tented all those houses and conducted overseas business in a day did you?

Kinda funny how many newcomers last year complained that the show was moving tooooo sloowww with the story, but it only seemed slow 'cause they caught up with all the previous seasons at once and then had to wait week to week.

This year from episode to episode so much has happened like no other season that those complaints now seem legitimate. Especially with this last episode it's just pedal to the metal while increasing the tension (pool scene, Jesse scene) so much, so casually, so tight, it's unbelievable. It's all pay off now.

With breaking bad, all the seasons have a slow build up, a mid season 'woah' moment and then the last few episodes are pedal to the metal!

So I saw the prison montage....Probably one of the very few scenes in all of BB that has left me feeling a little uneasy when it was all said and done. It was brutal...

I was laughing my ass off at the prison montage along with my friend. The guys getting shanked 100 times and the laundry mat owner getting lit on fire was great.

I think my favorite Breaking Bad comic from this season is:

Vince Gilligan told The L.A. Times, "We've got some ideas for the last eight episodes that frankly trouble me and worry me. I worry the audience won't stay on board with some of them. But this show demands dramatic moments and moments of shock and surprise and showmanship, and I want to carry that through to the bitter end - if indeed it is a bitter end."

Sounds good to me

I can see where people are coming from when they say that they want Jesse to have his revenge on Walt, but I don't want Jesse to get his hands dirty. If "revenge" means helping Hank get Walt behind bars, then I'm all for it. But Jesse has enough blood on his hands. It's time for him to get out of that life for good.
Jesse's hands are already dirty. He has killed and been in situations that resulted in death numerous times.

Just when Walter starts to redeem himself, he's got Hank to worry about. I could easily see Empire State of Mind Walter wanting to eliminate Hank, but what about this newly reformed, back down to earth Walter? It'd be so typical BrBa for them turning Walter slowly back into the likable guy he once was.

This show has spent a lot of time making connections between Walter Junior and driving, or just cars in general and the last episode showed him pushing Holly in a toy car.

What is this building to?

Personally I've always felt that Walter Jr. is doomed. No way he gets out of this series scott free.

Now that you've mentioned it, that is true.
But, to be honest, the show didn't spend enough time on him as a proper fleshed out character.

Speak for yourself, Flynn's breakfast storyline is impeccable! :o

That's why I said he has enough blood on his hands. Every death that Jesse has been a part of has clearly weighed on his soul. If he takes his cut now and leaves that life behind, he'll make it. He'll finally break free of this cycle of violence. But if he takes revenge on Walter, then he'll slip back down the slope and eventually become what Walter became.

everything walter sacrificed...he put his family through a nightmare, all for nothing...the worst punishment for him...

Then he gets shot, paralyzed, but survives and goes to prison... Then the cancer comes back. And his eyes fall out. And his ears explode. Then his hands turn into dull knives but the guards don't know that so they beat him. Jesse becomes best friends with Walter Jr. and they eat Funyuns for breakfast, *****.

With the redemption of Walter, I bet we see the demise or redemise of Jesse. He won't just let Walt's transgressions go. Jesse was aleady doing drugs again when Walt came over. My point is that Jesse is no angel, he will take revenge IMO.

Jesse had a bong. There's a vast distance between weed and crystal meth. And damn it, Jesse is an angel! :o

If the bong didn't matter then they wouldn't have placed any emphasis on it....but they showed Jesse was ashamed of it and Walter noticed it.

Because Walter is a judgmental prick towards Jesse who is naturally ashamed of his past. I don't think Jesse will ever touch hard drugs again. If he does, then I'd agree with you.

But he wants out. The motorcycle kid's death affected him greatly. I just don't see Jesse regressing. He was stressed out and had some beers and a few bong hits... or it was just Skinny Pete and Badger chilling at his place.
