Yup. That final scene in episode 5 (well, half of the season), was the clam before the storm. Now we wait for fit to hit the shan.
Like deeper in crime I guess, I assuming Walt and Jesse will kill again and things of that nature.Second half of season 3 and season 4 is the best chunk of the series (so far). Not sure what you mean by "deeper" though.
Yeah, the peak of this show for me, was the second half of the third season and all of season four. Season Five was awesome, don't get me wrong, but I don't know. Feels different.
Seasons two and three had those questions of, "How far will Walt go?"
If there was any question, the end of season 4 showed us he was a near complete monster with little to no humanity left. So, the show loses a great deal of tension because, unlike previous seasons, it's not about watching Walt lose his humanity. It's more about him being a full on villain now.
How could one still root for him after all this time.
why not? I'm still on his side...
True but the fact that he's had chances to walk away makes it hard to care at all.
How could one still root for him after all this time.
I guess from season the end of season 2 till now its more like a birth of villain, than him becoming a hero of sorts.I wonder the same thing. Interviews from Gilligan himself basically tell us Walt is a bastard and does not deserve any sympathy at this point. People still project their anger onto Skyler for her trying to steer clear of Walt's destruction instead of being angry at Walt for causing so many, so goddamn many problems all for his own ego.
The only episode that felt off to me (not necessarily a bad thing) was the Fly episode but I get why they did it. It's meant to be a bottle episode. Otherwise it's been growing an growing in intensity and I love it.
