- Gordon smirking in a hospital when watching the news about Batman coming back; it reminds me of the Joker's smirk in Arkham when he heard the same news

- The Bat, a huge Batvehicle dominating Bane's army vs the giant Batmobile from TDK Returns scaring away the Mutants
Yeah I know the Tumblr was inspired from the same ride, but it's still striking

- soeaking of the Mutants, their leader kinda looks Nolan's Bane

- Batman's 1st encounter with Catwoman: in the Comics she wasnt wearing a costume when he 1st met her... Or should I sat when he busted her

- little Talia repeatedly stabbing a prisoner... Little Bane did that in the comics

The scene between Bruce and Blake in the beginning where he tells him he knows that he's Batman reminded me a lot of this scene from "A Lonely Place of Dying". Only he's telling Dick about how he figured both his and Batman's identity.

you have got to be joking

Detective is an official police name/status. Gordon called him detective because that's exactly what he is. It has absolutely nothing to do with what Ras calls Batman in the comics. Flask is also a detective in BB.

It's incredibly obvious, but I am just beyond glad that Nolan gave us this iconic moment. It's something we always wanted, but weren't sure we were going to get, so it was SUCH a pleasant surprise.

The scene where Bane shows the citizens of Gotham that he beat Batman is not in the movie.
