Am I the only one who is sick of Kristen Kruek?

And as Zelda no less. I mean, I can understand where ppl would suggest her for Cassie Batgirl or Terry's gf from Batman Beyond, but Zelda?

How can you be sick of her? Other than Smallville, shes only been in a handful of other things! But you are right! As Zelda? No! She might make a decent Malon, Navi, or Great Fairy though! I still like Enya for Great Fairy though! She could do her own theme music! LOL

Unknowns would probably be the best route for Link and Zelda although I can see William Mosely from the Narnia films working alright.

Ganondorf would benefit best from being a named actor I think. Rufus Sewell has the chops, could be an interesting choice..

I like the idea of Rufus Sewell as Ganondorf! I did not even think about that! I put K.K. for malon because she is a good looking redhead! You gotta love photoshop! But maybe she is too old.

Unknowns
I think it's hilarious that people call out 'unknowns' like actors just appear on the streets. I don't know anyone who has a big movie as their first acting credit... everyone has experience somewhere. Nothing wrong with casting actors that you've heard of...

Shooting schedules and ages
They'd have to shoot the little kid adventures for the entire trilogy all at once, basically, in the same year, then reuse them whenever link travels back in time, assuming we borrow from that aspect of OoT.

On silent Link
I think making him a man of few words could go a long, LONG way towards making the elf badass. I wouldn't mind it at all, as long as, y'know, he still did some acting.

My casting so far

Grown Link: William Moseley (Narnia) with one major acting credit, this guy is unknown enough for me, has the look down pat, and has already started on his sword training.
Princess Zelda: Emmy Rossum (Day after tomorrow) Just a beautiful girl with a calm sweet demanor
Ganondorf: David Wenham (300) the voice, clearly, and not as overexposed as Gerard Butler
Little Link: (completely stumped... they don't have a lot of these young guys y'know?)
Little Zelda: Elle Fanning

Regardless all these actors will be too old by the time they cast... this is a casting thread so I am not saying that this thread is pointless... its for fun... but casting Zelda and Link right now is a crap shoot considering the actors that will eventually play them are still in diapers (at least for the younger versions) or are still around 9 or 10 (for the older versions). Elle Fanning may end up playing the older Zelda.. lol... and if they do a trilogy they got to go the Harry Potter route or the LOTR route... depending on what the story entails... either way its basically all or nothing.

I want to here some suggestions for the supporting cast if you guys got any... what other characters should be in and who should play them?

i think Emile Hirsch would make a great Link. i know he's already Speed Racer so it probably wouldn't happen but i think he's got what it takes to play Link.

as for Zelda...i know she's a lil' mature, but i still think this actress can pull it off...

Its because this is all "What if?" We are picking people who look the role and not necessarily people who are better actors. I have friends that could fit any of the roles. 10 years ago, I myself looked like Link. Don't take it so serious! This is supposed to be fun!

Link is like a more experienced Frodo Baggins. He should have the look of an Elijah Wood, but with more confidence. I don't think Frodo was proactive at least one time in those films.
