Chapter 44 - "The Eclipse, Part 1" - Discussion Thread 11/17/2008

A POWERFUL ECLIPSE CASTS A SHADOW OVER ALL OF THE HEROES THAT IMPACTS THEIR ABILITIES – SETH GREEN, BRECKIN MEYER, KRISTEN BELL, BREA GRANT, JAMIE HECTOR AND BLAKE SHIELDS GUEST STAR – After reuniting Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), Arthur (guest star Robert Forster) orders them to find Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and bring her to him. Matt (Greg Grunberg), Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) team up together and follow Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to her hometown of Athens, Georgia to discover what she’s been hiding. Meanwhile, Nathan and Peter Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia) travel together to Haiti in search of the the only man that can stop their father from destroying the world, the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis). Jack Coleman and Ali Larter also star. Robert Forster also guest stars.

But yah I think this episode will be awesome. I don't know what Tracey will be doing in this episode but I have a feeling that she joins Arthurs team from the pictures which is why she's not with Nathan this episode. Course she could be a double agent like Syler is, but we don't really need two. But it'd be pretty cool to see Nathan try and get threw to her if she did turn evil. Yah I like Tracey/Nathan together so?
But its still really cool how Nathan/Peter go looking for the hatian, that was either Peter/Noah's/Claires idea. All three of them have seen the Hatian, I don't think Nathan has ever meet the guy. I wonder how Nathan/Peter will travel. Also it will be cool to see Ando/Hiro/Matt work together for the first time. I wonder where they all meet, becuase in Its Coming Matt is with Peter and Claire.

I wonder based off the teaser trailer if The Eclipse is the key to getting Peter's powers back . The teaser trailer seems to indicate that The Eclipse is going to take Both The Heroes & Villains powers away . So could it be possible it will have the opposite effect on Peter who is already powerless and return his powers back ?

I really hope Elle's character is fleshed out more, especially her relationship with Sylar

I was thinking the same thing. Then Peter can save the cheerleader again, thus saving the world from impending doom. t:

His father's name is Guillame. I don't know if it's a first name or a last name, but it might be his name too.

I am thought the same as well. If he does get his powers back being the only one, he may have a decision tough decision to make in some way? Possibly a fatal one, and Im just assuming since Matt from the future thinks him a murderer. Maybe he did something during this time. Might not it ever come to be with Matt thinking Peter a murderer since it could be a different timeline of events that would have been. The present is changing so may not be? Or is the future coming to pass?
