I'm assuming it's a mind trick via his telepathy. He forshadowed that he was a much more powerful telepath than Matt was when he alluded to the fact that mind-reading was just the tip of the ice burg. I imagine he's talented in all forms of mind power...in Matt and Nathan's case, he made them hallucinate and eventually fight each other.

As I said earlier, I think part of this is building toward a mind on mind confrontation between Grunberg and his old man. And since Grunberg is win, I foresee a bright future. I'm also predicting an HRG/Claire dynamic to develop between Parkman and Molly with them trying to go into hiding at the end of the season, only to get called back into this mess next season.

The only part that is interesting me is the firm of Parkman and Petrelli because everybody's got daddy issues, it's just that not everyone can duke it out with mind control.

He told Claire about "the guy with the horn-rimmed glasses" a couple episodes ago. That would kind of give away any revenge plans...

Question about the whole hallucination thing: Petrelli (I think that's his name) was fighting against his scarred self which I still don't entirely get and that holds some significance to him. If that's true, then who the hell was Matt fighting against?

Matt was just fighting the prison guard, who was actually Nathan. Nathan was fighting a scarred version of himself because of the guilt he feels for surviving the explosion that "killed" Peter last season.

I'm not sure there is a way. They have completely removed the elements that make Claire interesting. Her connection to Sylar and Peter and HRG's double life. Now she is just an angsty teenager. And how do you really stop a teenage character from being that?

exactly, claire as a character was never anything special it was through her we did learn about the interesting characters- HRG, Peter and Sylar. Now i feel she is nothing but a pretty face that adds nothing to the show. Thats part of the problem i feel so far. We have hiro in japan away from ando and that charming double act, peter in ireland with these new characters we don't give a crap about instead of his family and sylar with new characters we don't care about. There is no connection that there was in season one and maybe elle provides that?

Im getting tired of peter's story. Why do we need to see him re-figure his powers again. Ugh.

Rest of the show was good. I like the team up between Nathan and Matt. I loved when nathan said the line about him not being a cargo jet lol. XD

Monica's story is still going strong. I really hope she puts on a costum. I want to see that in Heroes

Im looking forward to hiro's story. I like his story line but I think it's going to be drag out too long. Get him back in the present. Get peter back in the states.
