Actually he will be working with Bob to stop Matt's dad,This has been revealed in a spoiler.
Also everyone has to remember that Maury while he is the nightmare man is on the list to just like Bob and we have yet to see the 12th member in the photograph.
Again I just cannot say how great I think this show is just fantastic all around.

How do we know Maury is on the list? I thought is was obvious that Maury had a picture of himself covered by the godsend symbol because he was using it as an alibi to throw off any suspicion. Plus another member on here posted a screenshot of the original 12 and there was 12 people in the picture.

Well my co-worker says the same thing as he may have marked his own photo to throw people off but thats not what I think.
I think he is one of the people being hunted based on his actions of hiding out.

We're all assuming that the HRG in the picture is Noah, but it might be Mr Petrelli who nabbed West back in the day. That would be a pretty neat twist! I don't think thats a pompadour in the pic, I think thats just the artists way of showing their particular hair style.

In fact the person holding Claire might even be Nathan Petrelli, we all know how "Rock-a-billy" he likes to do his hair every now and again. Maybe Nathan kills his dad to protect Claire?

My random thoughts:
Saints B'Gorah! Peter's finally getting out of Ireland. But Hiro's still stuck in Japan. And no matter how the Kristen Bell tries to spin her character, Elle is a villianess, a psycho and spoiled brat on top of that--which is fine by me. And either her dad is Bob or he's Bob's boss--not to mention that he's probably the same guy that had Candice give Sylar medical attention. Still sticking with the idea that she's Claire aunt. And man, Maury is like a con-man version of Prof. X, only fatter and without the wheelchair. It also means that Matt's abilities could potentially become just as developed as his fathers. Not to mention that he fears he could become just like his father in the sense that he may or may not have abandoned his unborn kid--if it really is his kid. And I guess Niki really is like the Incredible Hulk, and glad to see that we haven't seen the last of "Jessica." And Monica's story is developing nicely. Interesting that this season, some heroes are already being given codenames. Monica is "Copycat," Mr. Parkman is "Nightmare Man." I guess Elle shall be known as "Spark Plug" by the fans. And Nathan will be "Two-Face"t:

Oh, yeah, and count me in as one of those who thinks that painting 8 is actually predicting Mr. Petrelli's real death, and what's more he's actually Kensei.

Has anyone raised the question as to why Parkman's father had the marked picture of Bob? I mean, the killer has been dropping them off to the people who are to die, why would he have both his own and Bob's?

I wondered that too, at first I thought he was pulling a Candice and making them see him as the next target when in actuality it was really Bob whose picture they were seeing. I don't know the particulars of Maury's powers, but it seems possible for him to do. After all he made Nathan and Matt fight for what seemed like hours. (It was dark by the time they broke the illusion)

So, I don't know.

I thought Daddy Petrelli was dead. During the first season wasn't it said that he had died of a heart attack (or some such thing), but eventually Mrs.Petrelli told Peter that his dad had committed suicide? Or is there some reason to think he might still be alive?

So that means each person in Heroes has the capabilty to grow there power into something much great like Parkmans dad did. cool

How would you further develop healing powers? Claire can already heal from pretty much any injury and regenerate lost limbs. Or Nathan, maybe he'll manage to fly at higher speeds, but aside from that I don't think there's much else he could do. Or DL's ability to walk though walls, what more could you do?
