notice the shoes.

And that symbol appears again...hmmm.

Awesome though that we'll get to see a hero actually acting like one!

The symbol obviously has multiple meanings. for example, it's both a stylized version of some japanese characters and a DNA or RNA strand. The writers have said, "The symbol means something – but it will be a while until we reveal exactly what – right now all we know is that it seems to cross a lot of our heroes' paths."

here are some appearances: http://heroeswiki.com/Symbol

here's a screencap of her shoes when she was jumping rope:

^my guess would be (if it is both a symbol refering to DNA and Japanese characters) that it refers to the historical origins of all the heroes and very obv IMO has to do with Kenzie (sp?).

But awesome detective work

I remember Tim Kring or someone else saying about Isaac being killed that he would still be around in season two, at least in spirit, and so far he's been in almost all new episodes

I still wish Peter had a dream travel like the one he had last season to talk with Charles, but with Isaac, it seems that Isaac finally understood the magnitude of his powers before being killed by Sylar, so I wouldn't rule that out

ok i may be a little late but did anyone notice that Matt's powers evolved?
Nathan pointed that out, and that's part of why I think we're building toward a "Nightmare Man vs. Son of Nightmare Man" end of the season, November sweeps type thing.

I hope you're right. Parkman's one of the most interesting characters this season. Peter was definatley the main character of last season's storyline, but given the direction it's headed in now I could see Matt being the most central to this volume's storyline.

just reading what you said makes me really miss last season :csad:

if you notice, each and every character has enough baggage to carry a whole season, yes, even Nikki or the wonder twins, and that's the beauty of it, this show can go in whichever direction they want and it will still be good

hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the show continues for more than five years and we end up with a whole new different cast in say, season seven than the cast that was featured in the first season

let's just hope we really have evolved by then

I don't think that will be the final battle. Mr. Parkman is not the one killing "the 12". I don't even think mr. Parkman is actually evil, like Matt said: he was trying to save his own ass.

Sure looks like it's Mr. Parkman to me. Only Kaito Nakamura saw his "attacker"; only Angela Petrelli saw her "attacker". Who on the show is a major telepath who could do such things? If Mr. Parkman was "trying to save his own ass", then why did he pull that stunt on Matt and Nathan and then escape? We already know this season will be broken up into volumes; that doesn't give a lot of room to draw it out. He's the bad guy in this volume, and it was set up at the end of last season. He's the one going after the rest of the Numerati.

Exactly we know he is a bad guy as Bob Nikki Nathan and Matt will be teaming up to take him on.
If anything I think we may come to find Bob is a lot like HRG was last season in believing the company is doing good and he is not really evil just misguided.

Ok so why then would he mark himself ? He wasn't expecting Matt and Nathan so it's not like he was gonna use that as a cover. That doesn't make sense to me. I'm not really convinced yet that he's the big bad. Besides, wouldn't Angela just have said that it was mr. Parkman who attacked her? Or he really is the big bad and he has teamed up with someone who's gonna betray him.

All good points I am not 100% convinced he is the main bad guy either but I am pretty sure he is a bad guy who is most likely working with the main bad guy.
I had asked a couple friends the same question about him being paranoid when they busted in on him and him having his own picture marked, which seems weird but even weirder is why would he have the picture of Bob that was marked?

Maybe he didn't? Maybe they just saw what he wanted them to see. Or maybe he did it to throw off any suspicion. You said yourself he was trying to save his own ass so he was obviously expecting someone.

not that weird if he's the guy doing it

Well Bob has a picture of himself marked as well so to me it seems a bit strange there being two marked pictures of one person.
But like I have already posted we know Bob teams up with Nathan and Nikki and Matt to take him on so yeh I am confused :)

does he? i don't remember that.

and i don't know about the team up. probably should be put in spoiler tags.

Ack very sorry thought it was a pretty well known spoiler since I found about it from this site :( and it was on NBC's site and TV guide's.
I will put a spoiler tag on anything else for future reference though and again I am sorry.

Am I the only one here that has read the latest online comic about Molly's dream?

Not only has Parkman Sr. trapped Molly in her own head, she is being attacked by COCKROACHES. Remember all the spoilers about the major bad guy that is able to control roaches? What if Maury can somehow control the minds of lesser creatures? Even if this is not the case, this still hints at him being a bad guy.

I saw it too but isn't the cockroach sort of like a signature for Sylar? So its either Maury or Sylar pulling an Illusion on Molly.
