Chapter 6: "The Line" Discussion 10/29/07

I hope so, other wise I may just wait for the DVDs again. This show is tedious to watch and I am beginning to question why I am. For one or two good storylines a week while sitting through 3 or 4 crappy ones? And I am really sick of hearing "Its building up! be patient!". Episode 6, meaning that we are AT LEAST a quarter of the way through this season (and that is assuming it has a very generous, 24 episodes) and so far nothing. We saw Claire get revenge on a cheer leader and Hiro mope over a girl in feudal Japan. I mean, it gets to the point of do I really want to devote each week to watching the the incredibly slow build up to one or two good episodes per season or just read recaps on Wikipedia and watch the season finale? It seems like it would have the same effect.
Haha, you think this show moves slow??? Try watching lost. :woot: :woot: :woot:

I think this is all necessary to show that she is putting all her trust into him and not HRG and then she gets betrayed by flying kid because he works for the company and because of this it may get HRG killed, just my theory.

That could've been done in the one episode where he flew her to the Hollywood sign and got her to lie to HRG. Does it really need to be stretched out over 4 to 5 episodes?

Haha, thats why I am waiting for DVDs on that one and just watching it all in a row when the series is done.

so far, this season is in a major sophomore slump. they should put claire's storyline on ice or wrap it up in one episode. boring as hell and redundant. maya and what's his face? boring. HRG? boring. it's just doesn't have the same rhythm as last year.
:wow: His is the best! (imho)

I agree with you on the others though. :cwink:

It does if they need to delay the payoff.

Now that Claire is a cheerleader again I guess it wouldnt be so bad if we got a break from her & we dont see her again until Peter returns to reality :o

But come on, you let one or two boring parts of an episode ruin the show for you?

No, its not one or two boring parts. It is the whole episode BUT one or two parts that are boring.

Now this is more like it it seems that HEROES is back on track at last .

Great episode .

Just from the previews its weird seeing Peter use Elles power more then we have seen Elle on screen using her ability. It kind of takes away the specialness of the new charecter.

It does if they need to delay the payoff.

Then drop the character until that time comes instead of wasting screen time showing her play a prank on a high school *****.

I enjoyed this episode very much. I'm loving what's going on with Sylar and the twins. Monica continues to be awesome. I like how Clare is slowly putting trust into West and at the same time losing trust in her father, which is just setting up for disaster. Peter's storyline is starting to get interesting and I can't wait to see what's this Adam Monroe is all about. And I also can't wait to see the implications of Hiro's actions. There's more, but I can't think of anything else right now. Looking forward to next week.

I'll be back soon. Sylar's story seems interesting, though.

Yeah, but it also seems like a repeat of last year's. Sylar manipulates someone (Last year Suresh, this year the wonder twins) into trusting him and then steals powers and becomes a human weapon of mass destruction. Wackiness ensues.

Okay, I'm as annoyed by West as much as the next guy, but I'm tolerating it. It's obvious West has something up, and it's completely stupid to reveal it this early in the season.

Pfft, in 2010?? Have fun with that, dude. :o

I don't think Sylar is the threat this time around. Again, I think the virus gets out.

Patience. The seasons just started. It's all set up..for something.

^I think it's the virus too.

I really don't think Sylar is going to be the huge threat this season. Something else is definitely up. But that's just my guess.

that wouldn't make any sense. If you want to tell a story, you don't brush a character aside till the big reveal without building things up. Not every character has to be involved in the murder mystery/virus plot/whatever.

People:

DELAYED GRATIFICATION

Look it up and quit yer b*tchin'. :whatever:
