Saw this episode on NBC.com (just caught Heroes Season 1 a few months ago), and without a doubt it's the best episode this season. Tim is right admitting that this season hasn't lived up to last season's tight, focused plotline, but Episode #7 finally has a sense of cohesiveness that has been lacking all season. I have been bored with Hiro's feudal Japan story, but it seems like it was done to build up Kensei/Adam's character, and we'll see if this will payoff at the end. Not really excited about going back 4 months to explain current storyline instead of moving forward, since we already know how Peter survived (c'mon, he has Claire's power), and other things (like why Nathan abandoned his family, what happened to DL, etc) don't warrant any explaination since they are rather minor in the grand scheme of things.
Only thing that really interested me is the conversation between Adam and Peter, and the backstory on Elle. As a Kristen Bell fan I've been extremely disappointed by the amount of screentime she has this season (or lack thereof); we need to see more Elle, otherwise there is no reason to cast Kristen for this role.
