He was put in a room with Alexander Skarsgard and told to duke it out for the role. The guy in the white t-shirt is Skars, who got DDT'd right after the photos were taken.

Cricket bats are good weapons. If I was a comic book god I'd have a enchanted cricket bat fo definatey.

Always found a good, old fashioned rounders bat to do the trick. Not as large and cumbersome as a cricket bat, baseball bat or hockey stick; more manouverable.

Basically, it's like the cousin of the traditional bobby's truncheon.

Marketers would argue that the beard ages Thor and they're trying to appeal to a younger demographic. Personally, I've preferred Thor with a beard since I was a wee tyke, but maybe I'm weird.
