You know who would make a great unconventional Gordon? Willem Dafoe.

I just have a feeling it wont be a big name actor for tv.

For film he should be around 60 maybe early 60s. Im still thinking Cranston or Hanks. Kurt Russell isn't a bad choice. William H Macy is unconventional and not one of my top choices for the role but ive heard people suggest it. He's such a good actor that I might be OK with it.

I seriously Cannot picture that at all. He hasn't got the look or the voice. He's too sinister.

Dafoe is more villain material but I can see him as Gordon. He's played warm characters. It would be another Oldman situation.

Yeah that'd definitely be comparable to Oldman's casting. But Oldman's face is slightly less frightening than Willem Dafoe's.

I'm hoping that Gordon has a role in BvS. Alfred is almost guaranteed to be in it, but I'm not so sure Gordon will be.

Anyways, I need Cranston in the DCU one way or another, be it Luthor or Gordon, I don't care. It'd be a shame not to get him in a DC movie when he's already expressed interest.

I could see Cranston, Viggo Mortensen, Jeff Daniels, Kiefer Sutherland, John Cusack, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Bridges, Steve Buscemi, Mel Gibson working in the role

And Bullock better be in the next Batch of Batman movies.

Viggo Mortensen for Black Mask. Think of his look in "Eastern Promises".

I'm cool with any of those guys as Bullock.

Mortensen as Black Mask could be very awesome, but I feel like anyone can do that role, as Sionis' face in the comics isn't that defined.

Mortensen as Luthor would be great too

His voice during long monologues could be hard to take seriously, but he is such a good actor he could definitely pull it off

Idk, he's goofy in the animated series. But i like him in Arkham City and Arkham Origins, The Long Halloween, and Robin Year One.

The angle of him being a deranged child napper with a preference for young blonde girls is really creepy. They fulfill his Mad Hatter/Wonderland fantasy. I think instead of using his hats for mind control, that the hats should inject some drug that keeps people stupid and easily controlled.

The only version that makes me think of him as a disturbing character is when he's a pedophile, child napper, whatever. But WB would never sign off on that for a Batman movie. It's just not happening unless it's like Mad Hatter in Arkham for a scene or two, or referenced as a past nutjob that Batman took care of years ago.

The mind control thing was done in batman forever and look at how that turned out.

Im just not a fan to be honest. Id rather see Ventriloquist/Scarface used and im not the biggest fan of that either, but ill take that any day of the week compared to Jervis Tetch.
