Arrowverse General CRISIS on Infinite Earths - 5 show crossover (TAG SPOILERS!)

People shouldn’t be surprised by this. There are a lot of naive and confused people on the Internet.

After watching the Witcher and seeing that Cavill can be more than this wooden actor, I am even more disappointed with Snyder's direction of the Cavill Superman in Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman, and Justice League.
LOL, Cavill's performance was no different or improved in THE WITCHER, in my opinion.
Cavill’s Superman had more charisma and character than Cavill’s Geralt in the Witcher. That’s no opinion, that’s a simple fact.

Yes, Snyder got Superman a little off, but to say Geralt isn’t wooden, that’s laughable!

Kind of wish the folks at "Screen Junkies" would make a Hinest Trailer for this.lol

I am surprised that no one has brought up the biggest plot hole on why the Monitor didn't just stop Nash Wells from releasing the Anti-Monitor with his Godlike powers.

Here is something that will make you guys feel better.

Since Arrow's seasons over already and so they put the whole thing up on Netflix (in the US at least). I get that it's part of their deal to let Netflix have them the week following the finale, but I'm surprised they didn't just wait for the rest of the shows to finish so people who wait can watch all of Crisis at once instead of waiting for Parts 1-3 and then 5.

Unfortunately it’s never going to be possible to watch all five parts on Netflix. Batwoman won’t be on Netflix after the season ends like the others. CW didn’t sign a new deal with Netflix so any show that started in fall 2019 won’t be on Netflix at all. I believe Batwoman will be on HBO max. The older shows will still be on Netflix as before because the old deal for them still stands. The Blu-Ray set of each show should include all five parts, they’ve been including the Crossover in the Blu-Ray for a couple of years.

Also, in the UK Invasion!, Crisis on Earth-X, and Elseworlds have all been released separately on a standalone DVDs (R2) containing all the crossover episodes. I'm assuming they'll do the same with Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Obviously they wont but all showrunners really should've gotten together to make a general Earth Prime bible instead of every show making up their own rules.

Agreed. I still can't believe that Marc's logic/defense for not including the Reverse Flash in this event, despite his involvement with Crisis having been foreshadowed since the beginning of "The Flash", was because the writers that they were working with now weren't the same that had conceived of that plot point 6 years ago.

Not to mention that it makes it really confusing to figure out on who remembers what anymore and why anyone (with the exception of the Paragons) be confused about things since they should have memories from both timelines after meeting with MM.

Speaking of which, how is it that MM can even restore anyone's memories from the previous timeline? Shouldn't his knowledge of those events be limited to what he's personally witnessed and not every little personal/intimate detail regarding everyone else's life? I mean does he automatically store up everyone's memories in his mind upon meeting them?

He said that? That's ridiculous.

Ah, the joys of a convenient script.

Just think, how much more interesting would all the shows be if it was only the paragons has memories of pre-crisis. That would’ve been interesting to watch instead of what we have instead where everyone remembers everything and no show really has a single change within them.

What also gets me is how, whilst the paragons have their pre crisis memories, they don’t seem to be aware of their post crisis memories and yet they’re running around saving the world as if they remember everything within the new timeline; that simply shouldn’t be the case.

Barry should be getting lost in his city due to buildings being where they weren’t before. Kara should have a completely different relationship with Alex, Lena etc, Clark should be aware of his sons, Kate should have a good sister rather than a bad one (Alice could’ve been wrapped up pre crisis paving the way for Beth).

What a lost opportunity...

I agree. Lots more dramatic potential if only the Paragons - or, at most, the quasi- “Justice League” - knew the full story. Moreover, this would be an additional way for the JL to bond and share the burden as the sole keepers of “Big Secret.” (Fly in the ointment: Lex is a Paragon. :argh:)

Some folks figured that Supes’ reaction about “the boys” was… strategically ambiguous. Presumably, J’onn J’onzz had already given Supes the mind-meld treatment. So he should know about (and have “memories” of) his twin sons. (Whether he has a second “memory” of his original infant son is a question.) But, bottom line, the existence of his sons wouldn’t/shouldn’t be a surprise. After all, Lois seemed quite comfortable with this “knowledge.” And it would be odd if J’onn mind-melded with Mom and forgot to do so with the Dad. :wow:

That’s not a plot hole, The Monitor knows things are going to happen but he has to let things play out as they should because the universe is a complex place where it’s all about balance. He said as much in Elseworlds.

I wish Tom wore the black suit with beard. That's one version of Superman I could see him pull off.
