It was definitely one of the better episodes. Though I don't know how I feel about Stefan turning off his switch since it seems to serve no purpose at the moment. Hopefully it is done good.

One of the better episodes this season, even though it was also Ian Somerhalder's directorial debut.

I felt like I missed something when it saw Kai, did he have some extra growth sprout?

Kai got a lot taller and is growing a beard.

That boy is bi-polar as hell. He doesn't seem to get the message that Bonnie doesn't want his a** for being a psycho.

Can Klaus snap both Stefan and Caroline back?

Ugh, I love them together so much. They need to invite Enzo into a threeway and then kill him.

They wish they were cool enough.

I really like the freakyness of what's her name walking into the bar and only seeing Caroline covered in darkness.

Can the rest of the show focus more on these two instead of the mommy Salvatore plot? Please and thank you.

Also, humanity-free Caroline is even better than regular Caroline .

This humanity free silliness is dumb. Dumb when they did it for Elena and the fact that they are doing it again clearly shows that the writers are just out of ideas....

- The no humanity thing is getting redundant as hell. Are the writers running out of ideas?

- Caroline's singing was one of the highlights, too bad is was not for Klaus.

- I've always been against the Stefan and Caroline ship, but it's better for them to be friends.

- Lilly Salvatore is a bit creepy, and looks like something off Corpse Bride/Crimson Peak.

- Damon and Bonnie were plotting to leave Kai's a** in the prison world all this time.

- I feel bad for Sarah because of Enzo's b******* almost getting her killed.

Did NOT see that coming. Wonder how they handle that exit.

More importantly, does this mean I can start shipping the s*** out of Bamon?

Michael Trevino was also apparently cast in a pilot, which somehow I missed.

Turn Caroline's humanity back on and move her into the more central role, I would assume. And I'd approve.

Or they can always go the Originals route and put Elena in someone else's body.

I feel like I shouldn't be surprised because didn't Wesley mentioned something about a cast shakeup before? But anyway... I was still surprised. Best wishes to her. She'a IMO by far the strongest actor in the cast.

Wow, I didn't believe it when i heard it earlier. BTS crew accidentally #IllMissWorkingWithYou on instagram before any of this was confirmed.

They should've convinced her to stay on 1 more season and end the show. Guess Bonnie/Damon just became a BIG possibility.

woah, didn't see that coming. her leaving the show may actually shake it up a bit and make it more interesting. atm the show is kind of boring compared to the originals.

Well The Originals is in its 2nd season, TVD in its 6th. Lets compare the two when it is that old.
