no. katherine only started dying after silas sucked the cure out of her.

When it came to The Cure storyline, I thought Rebekah deserved it more because she had hopes and dreams, which was kind of sweet.

Someone refresh my memory... Once you take the cure, you can't go back to being a vampire, right? Why is it that they're only stressing that for Damon but not Elena?

I assume it's because being a vampire is such a recent thing for her. She's been a vampire 1-2 years. He's been one for, like, 160.

She's most likely dying. If she stays alive, Damon will take the cure and there's no way that's happening with Ian still on the show.

Dobrev tweeted out yesterday that last night's ep was her second to last one, so yeah, looks like she's staying dead since she only wanted to do 6 seasons. But I'm guessing when the series finale rolls around, they could always bring her back to do a cameo via a flash back of some kind.

^ I did! Especially at the goodbye scenes.

I really liked how they did it. It sounded lame at first and I never expected it but on hindsight it's a good resolution and it's not really a goodbye for most of them. I think I was just more sad because Nina is leaving. She was SO good especially in the first few seasons.

WTF were those last scenes? A time jump? They should save that time jump for the series finale.

Yeah. It seems that [BLACKOUT]time passed after Elena's "slumber" or whatever you want to call it and since he doesn't have Elena any more, he's just gonna wreak havoc all over MF.

Somerhalder & Plec said we're gonna get season 1 Damon back with him being all evil again.[/BLACKOUT]

Does Elena not need to able to breath in her casket? lol

But it was one of the best episodes of the season as it should have done. Tyler didn't really get a send off but it would've been hard with Elena leaving at the same time.
