The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Dane Dehaan IS Harry Osborn

Are you insinuating I made a secondary account to post that or something?

Trust me, I have zero issues stating on my singular account about how crappy of a design Webb's villains have.

That being said..yes, yes he does look like Evil Ed.

I like that art, but...

They keep going for that tech-y look again and again, and every time you have a slightly too large group of people saying it looks not only bad, but terrible. I know that not everyone can agree, but it would be nice if a GG design got overwhelming acceptance for once.

If they're gonna have a fourth crack at GG, take another route. Go slightly medieval, slightly samurai. Like Terry Dodson's GG design, and if on top of that you added this tribal-looking mask... to quote Magneto, perfection. At least to me. :oldrazz:

Looking over the concept art for Raimi's film rankles me because they could've added some purple to Dafoe's suit. It was there in the art especially in the top of the mask.

Of course one could also say that they could've done the same with DeHaan's look but I don't really have much complaints with either or decisions. I wish they could've allowed some expression and movement in Dafoe's mask but he looked like GG for that time and Dane DeHaan looks like Green Goblin with his face and the laugh. Yes, his complexion could be a little greener, but the overall look works and people tend to forget that Harry's Goblin is a prototype; the unfinished suit to the unfinished transformation. Norman's GG, I think, they'll go bigger, scarier, and bring out all the stops because if you think about it... Webb listened to the fans from "ASM1" and brought a lot of their ideas, concerns, etc. into this film. I can't see him not doing the same with "ASM3" once this movie is seen/reviewed.

no, it reminded me of you, sorry if it came up wrong, btw why would i care if you made another account to say that? you are free to say whatever you want is not like i think people really want to force their opinion by making multiple accounts has a point...

Oh lol

It's all good, the way it was posted seemed like it was directed towards me as if I made a fake one. I thought it was weird that you had done that, because of all the SM fans I've happened to bicker with over TASM2, you weren't one of them.

It would be pretty funny if he's Proto-Goblin as he looks more like GG than the one we got in SM1 (which I personally liked but the mask is a bad as we can't see his facial expressions)

DeHann did a great job. He was really convincing as the somewhat unhinged individual driven to evil by his situation.

As the goblin he looked great and was appropriately evil

Agree with the above.

And the blow drying bit had everyone laughing, that was a great scene.

That right there is all I need and want to hear, bravo! :woot:

I want to know more about the

Osborn Curse

I don't feel it was explained very well. For instance why did...

Norman have claws and why was Harry dying at the age of 20 but Norman in his sixties.

no, he said he started developing the symptoms, Harry was just scared to the idea of dying the same way as his father that he became obssesed with it and ended up rushing the process, anyway one thing i didn´t get was , was he cured by the spider´s venom ?also they cut the scene where we see Felicity Jones looking at Harry all goblinized

I loved the movie and I would say Dehaan was one of the best things about it. His Goblin was genuinely creepy, and for the short amount of time the Goblin was on screen, he really stole the show. He was great as Harry too.

Nicely said brother :yay: I had a feeling he would shine aswell. His eyes give off some serious evil aswell.

Here's a quick colored sketch of harry. I plan to draw him as the goblin as well and clean up the pencil lines with ink.

I loved Dehaan in this. The character was excellent and i wanted more scenes with him. And his Goblin? Wow. I loved the look. It was creepy.

After seeing him in this, i need to watch Chronicle.

He was excellent as Harry but I thought the Goblin was underwhelming. Not really Dehaan's fault though, the problem was that he was only in it for 5 minutes tops, another problem is that Spidey IMO dispatched of him quite easily. It just felt very rushed.

The Goblin's presence was inserted for one simple reason which I won't go into. But take that one thing away and they could have easily left the Goblin reveal for the next film.

Harry's transformation was essentially the payoff to what Peter discovers upon watching his father's video in the subway.

Probably the best thing about the movie next to the Garfield/Stone chemistry. Limited screentime as GG for sure but it's clear we are going to see a lot more of this Goblin so that's not too much of an issue for me.

He was great as Harry Osborn :), I knew as soon as I seen him for the first time in the trailer and I recognised him from Chronicle, that he'd be great.

And he played the Goblin so creepily! I wish we'd seen a little more of him. I hope we get to see alot more of him in the third film!
