Well since Ben Affleck isn't returning, they should do a reboot, but to be honest Daredevil wasn't to bad, they should have put the directors cut out in the cinema, it was much better.

I like Wayne Kramer (RUNNING SCARED) for director.
yeah the only movie paul walker was actually really good in
In an interview with IESB, Fox;'s Tom Rothman discusses the possibility of a DAREDEVIL reboot (a la THE INCREDIBLE HULK).
Tom Rothman: A Daredevil, to use your words, reboot, is something we are thinking very seriously about.
IESB: Soon?
ESB: I have to ask.
TR: You've lost a lot a weight now Robert and you are going to live for a long time, this is the movie business, nothing is soon.
...says IESB, which also discusses Rothman's belief that a DAREDEVIL reworking would work best when guided by a director with a genuine vision (a la Christopher Nolan).
Rothman's statements are confounding given Fox's legendary disregard for artistic vision, and frequent interference with/contempt for film maker (Alex Proyas being one example, Mathieu Kassovitz being another).
sequel, i dont think there was any harm to the film that can't be reversed or forgotten in a sequel
agreed, but considering Ben Affleck doesnt want back in and Johnson should never direct again, they should probably do a pseudo-sequel a la The Incredible Hulk.
isnt that basically what TIH was?
What is the definition of reboot? Is it not a redo with new cast, director, and production team? If this is the case, I want a sequel cuz I don't want to waste time on origin again. Just jump in to the action from the get go.
Reboot; Daredevil was honestly, my least favorite marvel movie so far (mostly due to the fact that I don't give a **** enough about Ghost Rider to be offended by that movie); It deserves better.
i thought DD was fine, just could have been darker, the directors cut was loads better though and actually made the movie on par with spidey
I disagree. People rant about the director's cut, but I still thought it was weak. Added plot doesn't make up for ****ty acting, ****ty directing, and ****ty atmosphere.
DD was fine.... i feel like a reboot would just feel like a rehash. it'd feel like dejavuDD was fine.... i feel like a reboot would just feel like a rehash. it'd feel like dejavu
no, it had a completely different origin..
but it assumed the audience new most of it and it just barely glossed over the nuts and bolts which is what really needs to be done with Daredevil psuedo-sequel.
the gives away a hell of a lot. I would hold on to bullseye and elecktra for the future. The movie shouldnt directly tie in to the previous one. It wasnt that good or well recieved and it would take the same route as TIH (since Rothman has specifically stated TIH in his plans for DD) in getting a whole new creative team and cast.
it gives away alot? dude we don't want to see the same story again, its repetitive.
its a new series retconning the already disaterous first attempt. It wont be the exact story over but showing Kingpin, Bullseye, and Electra and cutting through 3 of the more important villains to DD. The only thing a bad attempt cuts through is origin. Dont give up a chance to do Bullseye, Kingpin, and Elektra right
