Days of Future Past Days of Future Past SPOILERS! (You have been warned!) - Part 3

No they wont die

In this new happy timeline due to Wolverine' actions, formers x-men (Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Storm, etc ..) live a lot of adventures and battles in 80's, 2000's, 2010's ... Nobody dies.

BIG SPOILERS:

I loved the cameo of Emma Silverfox at the end.

Another way to aknowledge the fact Origins belongs to the Timeline Prime canon... brilliant! :word:

After all, she is one of the second generation of X-Men in the movieverse:

Cyclops, Beast, Jean Grey, Emma Silverfox, Storm

She was rescued along with Cyke in Origins.

She was at the very end of DOFP :) Nice touch, Singer!
She wasn't in the film...

Yeah. Ther is no Emma at the end of DOFP
Whats that

I have a question as well. While Kitty is using her evolved phasing ability, the future automatically alters once the major event (Trasks assassination) has been averted right? So Kitty herself still has to bring Wolverine back to the future for the timeline to truly alter?

I think Wolverine automatically returned to the future when Kitty and the rest disappeared from the monastery when the timeline shifted, since she was no longer channeling her power.

Awesome!!

she'd be about the same age as Scott and he didnt look old in that final scene.

I think someone is just confusing some random blonde in the scene for Emma. No one caught it bc she wasnt there

He told about Emma (SilverFox'sister) in X-men origins
Not Emma in First Class

No. The new future is set in place when Wolverine wakes up. Wolverine is the Observer, who must observe the changed history for it to become reality.

As soon as Mystique drops the gun, history is changed. Kitty is then no longer projecting Wolverine into the past because that has been undone, so he wakes up in both past and future.

I see, thanks.

this how I see it.Remeber once Prof.X says the mind is built in layers.
So the way I see it is when the future was altered Wolverine had lived in the new timeline however wheh his current 1973 consicencness came into place it came on a layer on top of those memories.Kind of like when your doing somthin and then the phone rings and then your like..What was i doing?Because that current consciencness layer is on top of the others...Rembr when they said his brain would have to heal and whn Prof.X says we have alot of catching up to do well as Prof.X tells him of his current timeline he will begin remembering and replacing old timeline history with new timeline history as his brain heals...kind of like when you wake up from a dream and and you rember it for the moment but the more you realize its a dream and deal with reality you tend to forget it.
So his brain will be replacing layers as it heals....Either that or he will remmber both timelines but I dont think he can or his brain will constantly repairing itself as two memories will be fight to be in the single memory comparment if that makes sense.

see what I mean?

I still don't understand all this talk about the 'Emma Silverfox' character. The actress from Origins wasn't even in the film.

Are you talking about the one girl at the very end in the new future that has long blonde hair that walks past??? I mean if you are, you are reallllly reaching out for something that isnt there

Ok im sorry I posted this twice but can sombody hlep me make sense of this...

It's really not wise to think too much about time travel stories. Even the very best ones fall apart under a microscope.

Go back and read the post I quoted. He clearly wrote Silverfox. Again, Silverfox would be the same age as Scott, not 70 years old. I dont see how one can confuse that with Frost from First Class when he made sure to specify which Emma

After second viewing during weapon X flashback I could tell they included shot of jason In freezer from Origins with shots from X-Men and X2.

When Xavier reads Wolverine's mind i could make out these

X-Men-WIth Jean during his first encounter in medical bar and at end after he woke up after rogue absorb his powers

X2-seeing jean after he returns to mansion and flashback of him screaming with blood on claws

Last stand-the killing of dark pheonix

Origins-Sabretooth breaking claws off

The wolverine-his flesh bruning in japan

Singer clearly wanted to remind people of his version of weapon X over the origins version although a shot of Jason frozen Is included.Off course with
jason being 10 In 1973 and if main parts of Origins are in 1980's that creates
problems with how young jason In freezer looked.

I am pretty sure even though it is kind of hard to make them all out during Xavier's expostion before wolverine Is sent back that Is suspose to be Angel,Azarel,Riptide,Banshee, and Emma In photos.

I also noticed during footage from FC of young xavier and Young Mystique Xavier says a couple of words he didn't say In FC.

Notice also the newspaper at end of film says world leaders uniting to find Magneto. That could be relvent to apoclaypse as well as mystique as stryker pulling wolverine out.

So was that Cable at the start or just someone who looked a bit like him? See a few websites are counting this as a cameo but I'm not sure Ive seen it mentioned here.
No. It was a grownup version of ink. They had the same eye / bird tattoo

how does young Charles Xavier go from being the depressed alcohol drinker, to being the normal older Xavier weve seen in the other movies. Does he eventually get his act together and form the school again?

That's the theory that everyone has so far. The belief is that Charles, in the original timeline, managed to find his way back up...but much later on than the Charles that we saw in XOFP.

I think there were still a couple of closeup shots used from x-men origins' version but he definitely used his version way more, which i loved because his was so much better imo, especially wolverine screaming with his claws out and blood all over him. Also i liked that the footage from the other films were colored to look like how logan's memories look like in X1 and X2. Really dark and gritty.
