DC Universe Online News - Consumable Armories Debut in Game

DC Universe Online players can now purchase consumable "armories" from the in game shop that grant the ability to save various character builds. Each base can feature four armories for a grand total of sixteen, with the ability to carry four into battle. Armories make switching specs for a variety of situations quick and easy.

Building a character in DC Universe Online is a lifelong process. From the start, Heroes and Villains define who they are by creating their own unique look for their unique characters. They choose their superpowers, their weapons, their skills, then search for their gear and style as they progress on their missions to save (or destroy) the world. With all the options to choose from - and all the different situations a single character needs to be ready for - that can sometimes mean a lot of cumbersome costume changes. Sound familiar?
It should, but not for much longer. Starting today, those slow changes become lightning fast with Armories. An Armory is a visual Base item you can use to imprint (save) everything about your character's build, including your gear, skill points, power points, loadouts, role, styles, and colors.

Last time I played DCUO was two years ago. When I tried to patch it, it crashed my PS3. Wasn't able to use it for around three months. A very traumatizing experience.

I'm sorry to hear that but an MMO is a overly demand system and if you don't have the disc space for it it'll ether not play it or it'll do what it did to your system as you described . That's the down side of it all really

Actually, my PS3 had more than enough space for DCUO (I think it even had space for two more DCUO's). I don't know what crashed it. I was able to play it for around three months before crashing though. Gotham City is beautiful.

yeah I was typing that I shouldn't be getting a head of my self. and was about to ask if that was the case for you but my browser from fire fox crashed and I had to open up another one. that I don't use often. so you haven't tried it since then?

I'm not sure if you should, but you may want to find out what it was that caused that. well that's up to you. if you feel if your system can handle it and you have the room try it again. hopefully it won't happen again.. other wise don't do it until your ready for a ps4. but I would want to find out what made my ps3 crash in the first place.

I always appreciate the time and effort it takes to create the new powers of the game from every visual/movement/look/etc but I also have to say Rage is already annoying me. Ran DUO's with Rage DPS who kept spamming this one flip looking move and another that *spills* all this red stuff that not only floods my screen but also makes me lag (maybe cause I'm also still on PS3).

But the new raid has got to be the easiest raid...ever. Enjoying the new content and seeing so many players on Mogo.

do you mean cause you don't want to use a name that the game will say is taken? thus not allowing you to use it? sorry I never heard or seen such a thing and when ever I ran into something like that if i really wanted to use the name i'd have to get creatively funky with the spelling or add something like numbers to the name. it would be nice if there was something like that.

last night, I created a new character, but every name I came up with, it said it was taken........lol.

It's pretty tough to come up with a decent name that isn't taken. I gave my character a civilian name. Since I'm playing a Lantern, a secret identity isn't important for my character.

You would need to buy a power respec token from the marketplace, cost $10.

I heard you can do that, while downloading the game on PS4. You can create a character during the download. I think you can also play the Brainiac tutorial mission too.

I can't go to the city or Watchtower,it says I need to wait till the game is fully downloaded and gave me an estimated time,first it said 26 hours and now 28,Do I leave the console on stand by mode before getting off or what?
