LOST AND FOUND — GUEST STARRING STEPHEN AMELL — After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the exposure of the corrupt Time Masters, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action. After making a shocking discovery, Nate seeks out Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell) for help in finding the scattered Legends. Once reunited, the Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations – unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. Their first stop is 1942 to protect Albert Einstein from being kidnapped before the Nazis destroy New York City with a nuclear bomb. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) notices that Sara (Caity Lotz) has a mission of her own, which leads them both to face her nemesis, Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). Victor Garber, Arthur Darvill, Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Dermot Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Phil Klemmer and Greg Berlanti & Chris Fedak.

I noticed they've gone from Rip Hunter to Dr. Stein for the intro.

Is it possible that Professor Stein might replace Rip Hunter as leader?

Starting the 2nd season with a narrative may not be a good idea. Nate Heywood represents the audience viewpoint.

You know, as much as I miss Snart and his...well, snark, not having him or the Hawks here and giving us a smaller main team, I think, makes for a slightly more focused story, especially since the Hawks' storyline was ongoing throughout the season, continuing on from Flash and Arrow.

Don't like Hunter being replaced, hopefully it is temporary.

I do like the strong connections to the other shows this brings about, particularly with the ending.

The JSA looked pretty good. I hope Flash Jay Garrick joins them.

he'll try to be the leader and will not be good at it. And sara will take over. truth be told the only person that has lead beside Rip(<< if you can call that leading) was Lenard Snart and he's not around any more . right now as of the first episode , no one leading it's just the new guy re finding them after rip seperated them all ,to save them all from sinking under water. oh a a very ticked off JSA

I think we should have seen the hints when there was a change in the opening narrative.

Kind of a waste to have Amell in this episode, IMO. Didn't really add anything to the overall story.

This was fun. The time travel wonkery is still a little too nonsensical, but the characterization is stronger at this point. It REALLY helps not having the Hawks around.

so the new guy is a detective & a historian but he's a detective that's way better then anyone onthe freaking police force of starling since the won;t let fed's be shown in the any of arrow. and this guy put captain and every in law enforcement to shame there.

lol oh wow. well I'll say I like this new guy for that at least.
Starling city saddiest police force ever. I dropped that show for a good reason. Well hopefully that won't happen with this series.

Fun episode.
I love this show. :funny:

JSA looked awesome when they showed up. Jay really needs to join them.

Reverse Flash got me hyped.

Seems like the producers like having special guests appearances just for the sake of having them(see Felicity this week on Flash)

His "exit" from the underwater Waverider was a bit bleh - Almost as if he said "Bye" as you would leaving the local corner store ;-)

true. but he's mayor now and he can't leave the city pretty much ever . even if it is a time Machine and with the way the writer like make things . if he leave's on that ship, he won't be back for month's regardless of it being time machine and the city will end up worse then it is already. if that's po9ssible.

I feel like Barry Allen would make the most sense guest-starring in this episode than Oliver since he does plenty of time traveling himself. If he found out that Reverse-Flash is in the past, he or Jay Garrick would be involved with Legends.

A decent premiere, I would rank it bottom of the 4 personally though. Sara just annoyed me this episode, her acting felt like it had gone backwards. Although I did like her Boy Scout comment at Ray, given he played Superman.

I did love the Einstein stuff though, was quite hilarious. The action scene with the Legends vs Darkh & the Nazis was badass. I also enjoyed the Germans actually speaking German, far too often in films and TV they don't do that.

When they looked for the Legends at the end why didn't Stein & Jefferson just Firestorm when they were about to be beheaded?

Where is Rip? Is Arthur Darvill not gonna be a regular anymore?

REVERSE FLASH!!!!!

The JSA looked awesome

All in all I give it a 7/10.

What I am asking for right now seems silly, considering the type of show this is, but I hope there won't be too much time traveling to many different time periods this time. Because France and the medieval ages looked cheap as hell.

Sara was quite annoying and yet her story and vendetta against Dahrk was still the most interesting part of the episode. The episode itself felt a bit formulaic. This is a problem Legends suffers from a lot, even more than Flash and Arrow do on their villain-of-the-week episodes and it makes the stories themselves feel strangely irrelevant (when they're arguably the biggest ones in terms scale).

They've got quite an ensemble of charismatic villains, let's hope they don't waste them.
