Dead Rising 2, Possible trailer leak?

what happens if you give them all??

and LAST playthrough??? you were behind me at one point

You just get an achievement. "Father of the Year." And Katey giggles a lot.

Yeah, I'm almost done with my third play-through now. I was playing it a lot over the past few days. :D

wowsers.....

not sure what ill do next time round

im still gunning for the S ending

need to buy a used dead rising 1 as i lost my disc while i was on overtime and could do with finishing it on overtime

There's really one main thing you need to do for the S ending, besides the obvious of doing all of the cases.

Ok, that war veteran was a pain in the ass to rescue. Kept breaking wheelchairs I put him in. What sucks even more is I forgot to save the game after saving his ass and got killing trying to take down TK's chopper. So I've got to save him again.

I think the save system is good because it helps with challenge in my mind. Too many games these days have too frequent checkpoints, but sometimes it really annoying! Especially when you've created some new weapons for scratch cards or worked a bit on the different achievements on the way to the next mission like use every weapon, eat every food, etc..., now I don't remember which ones I've used.

The Leadership magazine helps with saving survivors a lot. Dean, the war vet, can run like any other survivor if you've got the Leadership magazine. Hell, give him an LMG or an assault rifle and he actually becomes pretty solid backup for you. ;)

Where do you find that?

Also where can I find bacon? I've made every combo drink except the one I need bacon for.

The LMG is on top of the big statue in the middle of the Yucatan Casino or
in the Underground Tunnels where you kill Boykin after the military arrives.
The assault rifle is on an awning over one of the restaurants in the Food Court. You have to jump onto some vending machines by Lombardi's Pizza, then onto the roof of that restaurant, then run all the way down to the awning at the end of that row, then turn back the way you came from and you'll see it on an adjacent awning.

They really are. The key is to keep moving. You still move faster than they do, but if you stop for a few seconds, they gang up on you real quick.

I was a bit overwhelmed when I first tried it as there are SOOO many options and things going on. I put it down and moved onto other games. Im winding down on my Spiderman play and should try and get into Dead Rising 2 within the next week or so

the military just came and i thought it would be close to the end so i had stocked up with knife gloves (x2) samuri swoard, lmg and lots of quickstep and painkiller....... DOH

There is a lot of stuff going on at once at various points of the game. Don't worry, though, it lets up. You get a pretty good amount of freedom to prioritize, too, since virtually everything except for a handful of missions will appear while the timer bar is still white (i.e. the mission window is still like 6 or 8 hours away from closing).

I never really used the mixed juices. I actually forgot they brought them back for this game my first time through, in fact. Then when I started looking stuff up online after that to see what I'd missed, I kept seeing references to Quickstep and Painkillers and such and I was like, "Oh yeaaaaaah!"

ye i forgot till towards the end too!

overtime is so much easier this time

and i found a bit of a glitch for the boss which helped (take the quickstep and painkiller before confronting him and they still work)

By the time you're level 50, the game is massively easy. It works out well, though, 'cause by that time you're mostly concerned with just killing as many zombies as possible anyway. :)

argh have to restart spent to much time getting survivors and now the main story has run out of time

Man I wish this game had friendly fire. I was saving some stupid survivor and his wife and I only had one bar of health left. I saw a restaurant and tried to open the door to find some food and the survivor shot me with his shotgun and "oops, sorry about that" Yeah, too late idiot, bc Im dead

I finally got to and completed the overtime mode, Now I don't think there's really anything else to play for.

Oh, Survivors with guns was always a bad idea. Anytime one of them has a gun I get shot.

Me too, but if you've got the Leadership magazine, it's still worth it. Send like 3 or 4 survivors armed with shotguns and a melee weapon or 2 to a point in the middle of some zombies and watch them own the s*** out of them. I've had survivors actually kill psychopaths for me with the LMG. :D
