Like killing a man with his bare hands in a public place.
Anyone could have saw him.
Not sure how he would manage to carry the body back to his car in secret.

Perhaps this leads to someone finding out about Dexter in the future.

No, killing someone that isn't "bad".

Yes, they did it earlier ad failed, but I think they knew that it was too soon and kind of just retconned it by ignoring it.

The way it was done is "bad" for Dexter.
It was sloppy, exposed, in the heat of the moment.
Not too sure how many of his "rules" he broke there.

I could see this coming back to bite him if they chose to write it that way some time in the future. But they will probably just drop it.

Yeah, but at the beginning of last season he offed that jerk in the bathroom. He shouldn't have gotten away with that one either, but he did. Never mind not having been seen, but he hadn't been wearing gloves for that one either. He must have left prints all over.

It's been a while but I remember Dexter feeling a certain exhilaration
when he killed outside the code. The thrill of spontaneity.

It looks like next episode he and his brother are going to be cutting loose a little more. Exploring his darker darkside and confronting Trinity's son. Sounds like an interesting roadtrip.

Hey, didn't Trinity think Dexter was sent by God to kill him?

Wonder if that is why they're trying to tie Trinity stuff into this season...

what i dont get is why Jonah even cares about Dexter...Dexter helped him out, even though he lied about his name...and as far as Jonah knows Arthur is still out there. seems kinda weird to me so hopefully write this well.

also i think it would be pretty awesome if dexter lets the darkness consume him and starts doing ITK style killings.

Quick question, what happen Dexter other kids from his deceased wife? Not that I want those kids in the show, just curious why they haven't been mentioned...

Living with the Grandparents.

I read this way differently at first, haha.

Yeah, this whole apparently Trinity connection seems kind of odd. Impossible to know how it'll pan out just yet, since we only know the episode preview length about it, but it's very unexpected. This season has been very unexpected in so many ways.

Something has got to happen with Angel's sister. She's too hot just to be a babysitter

Got the vibe that the new intern might be going after her. He was digging at that party, and he didn't back away from drunk Quin whenever he tried to muscle in.

I think she'll stick around just to be a decoration, and to provide a mechanism for Dexter to be out at all hours with a kid at home. I don't see her being a major plot device this season, but who knows.

Best episode of the SHOW thus far and the next one is looking to top it. Brother Sam dying would've been a shocker if I didn't have big mouthed friends, but it was still sad. I was shocked at how hard Dexter was taking it. I really thought he was gonna let Nick go, but I'm with everyone else. He deserved that ****.

And the ending scene. Jesus.

i might get my wish...

synopsis for episode 8 says Deb and LaGuerta get into an argument about a case dealing with a murdered call girl, hmm maybe Dex does pull a ITK and kills a call girl?

Dexter is my favorite TV Show at this moment, everything is so awesome! Brother Sam's death moved me a bit and even though it happened very soon, I can't say I am pissed. Quinn really deserved Batista's punch, I liked that too! He keeps being a d**k.
I lov where the show's going and its awesome that we R having Brian Moser again in the show, gonna be great!

I also like Debra way better than LaGuerta as lieutenant! I hope she keeps this position for the next season as well (if there's gonna be a new one). As for Gellar, if he is Travis' dark passenger aka just an illusion, I"ll be disappointed, I truly hope that Gellar is REAL and starts doing serious $h!t from now on!!

I liked having Brian around. too bad it was kinda a one off thing.

The set up from last weeks episode does not pay off at all unless they do something more with Brian later on. I mean I was hoping to see Dexter just go on a rampage for at least a few episodes but he overcomes it by himself in just one? Seems like wasted opportunity. I wanted to see Dexter's two sides warring with each other, they don't even share a scene together.

Also enjoying the setup of Deb losing faith in her brother when she depends on him so much.

i thought tonite's episode was solid. so far the best of the season and i would even rank it in the top 10 Dexter episodes of all time. really different and it was great how it connected with seasons 1 & 4

Nebraska was a great ep! And btw, that chick that Dexter had sex with was gorgeous!

PS: After seeing the preview for next week's episode, I think we can finally rule out speculation of Gellar being only in Travis' imagination! Guess what ppl? He is REAL and he will kick butt!!:o

That would be a long ass drive up and back. I guess flying would be too risky, having his name connected to the flight there.

Gellar does seem to be alive and real. That girl that got interviewed also mentioned they were 2 men holding her hostage and that one was older than the other one.
