For me, the *dead joker* in the body bag scene always makes my heart sink.
Did any of you guys feel the same?

And no I'm not complaining - the scene was great when he owned the guy,
by the way what did he do to the guy? Did the Joker give him a chelsea grin - but I can't imagine the guy dying instantly because he didn't kick the guy to make him scream for the smile to rip his face apart and kill him. So did he just slit his throat?

Sorry if this has been posted.

I think he cut him because if you remember I think blood gets on his friends shirt. I think

hmmm I don't really remember that, but on monday I'm seeing it again (lol).
I just find it hard to believe that just cutting a smile would kill the guy. =/

At the time, no. It went over my head. Now, it makes me sad. :csad:

My heart would sink, but yeah in the back of my mind I knew he was okay, but it's still painful but I'm glad Nolan had balls (some people wanted the scene removed) and left it in.

Not really. I feel bad Ledger when he made the upside down speech.

It hasn't been out for 48 hours, yet it ALWAYS makes your heart sink. Unbelievable.

I seen it 3 times - going on 4 this monday or tomorrow.

First time was an advanced screening in chicago, and rest was in MD (since the only imax plays Body Worlds! >.<).
And I saw it 3 times because some of my friends couldn't make it one time, then my brothers, and dad.

Yeah I have no life.

That speech killed me the first time. I cried as I left imax, layed on my bed thinking about it, and yeah fanfiction ideas came in my head..

i felt worse when i saw him with no makeup at all and the end speech cause i knew he was alive during the bag scene

It did not make me sad when I was in the movie because it was such a great performance, however after the movie was finished I realized that we will never again see such a awesome performance from Heath in a future batman film, that's when it really started to suck thinking about sequels and the loss of such a great actor.

Didn't bother me at all. It was an awesome entrance.

I too felt bad during his upside down speech because I knew that was the last time we'd see him on screen.

I didn't know him
He didn't know me

Why should I feel bad when I see him in a body bag? He wouldnt feel bad for me if I died.

Seriously, folks need to get a grip

The only thought that popped in my head when they had the "dead Joker" was, "Holy crap, they left that scene in the movie afterall, SWEET! *Joker gets up* WHOA!"

Also when I saw it the second and third times, that final speech gave me goosebumps, especially how it ends with him laughing, very fitting (although creepy too).

No.....because I didn't even think it was a body bag. I thought he was in a trash bag.

I didn't know him
He didn't know me

...and you need to buy back your soul.

there was a moment where i felt some sadness and was taken aback.

It didn't bother me because I didn't see Heath Ledger, I just saw The Joker. I think that's one of the best compliments you can give an actor. RIP Heath.

didn't bother me, though like others in here "we are destined to do this forever" made me sad

And to donk70-

Where in the hell do you get off telling us that we need to "get a grip" because we are still mourning Heath Ledger's death? Just because you don't give a damn doesn't mean that we shouldn't. You don't have to meet a man face-to-face to feel like you know him. Actors put a little piece of themselves into every role they take on, and when we see their movies we see a part of them. Those of us who have followed Heath's career and have seen his films, even if we didn't have a clue who he was until he was cast as The Joker, we feel like we know him. If you're too shallow to understand that then you're the one that needs to "get a grip."
